How to Start Your Fitness Journey RIGHT NOW! (week of eating, workout routine, protein recipes, etc)

In this motivational vlog, the creator urges viewers to begin their fitness journey immediately, emphasizing that positive mindset, self‑affirmations, and gratitude are as essential as physical action. She stresses that food is fuel and advocates a flexible, non‑restrictive approach to nutrition—enjoying favorite treats without obsessing over calories, especially during holidays. The speaker shares personal anecdotes about past unhealthy obsessions with “low‑calorie” diets, the importance of self‑love and body positivity, and the pitfalls of comparing oneself to others. Practical guidance is provided for home workouts, highlighting three key pieces of equipment—resistance bands, dumbbells/kettlebells, and ankle weights—explaining their benefits and how they support strength training. She also mentions a recent Gymshark purchase as a confidence boost. Throughout, the tone remains encouraging, urging viewers to find enjoyable workouts, set realistic goals, and view fitness as a lifelong, balanced lifestyle rather than a short‑term weight‑loss fix. The video concludes with a heartfelt reminder to prioritize health, happiness, and self‑worth over external standards.

Don't wait to start your fitness journey after you finish midterms. Don't wait to start after the holidays or in 2021. Start your fitness journey today, at this moment, right now. You are what you think. As cheesy as it might sound, it speaks nothing but the truth. If you think positively, if you tell yourself you are strong, you are fit, then you're going to manifest that. Of course, thoughts alone aren't going to bring you what you want. You have to combine them with action. Set a goal, believe in it, write it down, stay positive, take action, visualize it, and express gratitude. Because being grateful for what you have right now will only attract more good things. Recently, I myself have been putting all my attention to what I have, not what I don't have. So tired. I might not have the most visible abs, But what I do have is a strong body that is keeping me on my feet, that is working for me every single day. It's keeping me healthy and most importantly, alive. What I've recently been doing is giving myself a compliment every day before I go to bed. And when I wake up, I stare in the mirror and tell myself, I'm intelligent, beautiful, successful, and enough. Simple affirmations like that can change your whole mindset, and eventually you'll start to believe in yourself. Eventually you will. Self-love and body positivity plays such a a big part in your fitness journey. Putting yourself down and getting upset that you're not reaching your goals fast enough will only bring you down, and we don't want that. Your fitness journey should be fun. It should inspire you to keep going. Remember, the only thing that is keeping you from being the strongest, healthiest, and happiest is you— your own belief that you're not worth getting to where you want to go. But the truth is, you are good enough right now. You are always good enough, no matter if you've gained weight, received a bad mark, had too many chocolate chip cookies, skipped a week of working out, etc. Don't bring yourself down. Leave everything in the past and focus on what you can do right now to improve.
Ah, yeah, outside the rainstorm, dancing with the storm clouds, but inside there's not a dry eye in this whole house.
Food is fuel. You need food to perform at your best, whether it's at school, work, or simply doing a workout. You need to eat. Don't expect to get results if you don't eat properly. Food is a way for us to recharge, just like a charger is for a phone. Not eating enough throughout the day will not only cause you to overeat, but you will feel tired, unproductive, and under-eating will be detrimental in so many other ways. You don't have to make every recipe a healthier version. Just because you're on your fitness journey, it doesn't mean you have to replace your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe with low-calorie cookies or normal brownies with avocado brownies. There shouldn't be restrictions to your baking. Go wild, have fun with it. Oh my gosh, you're right. At one point in my fitness journey, I was obsessed with the word healthy, low-calorie, and sugar-free. I made sure all the foods I was eating fit those categories. Boy, did it bring me nothing but more stress into my life. I cared too much about food and it did me more harm than good. Life is too short to worry about how much sugar or calories are in that donut. Don't get me wrong, it's good to be aware of what food you're consuming, but don't make a nutritional label on the back of your cereal box take over your life. People aren't going to remember you for your food choice. They are going to remember you for your character. If you're trustworthy, loving, kind, and choosing to eat a donut instead of salad one day is not going to change the way people see you. And if people do judge you for the food you eat, don't take it personally. Their judgments just come from their own insecurities. Remember, your food choices don't define who you are. The holidays are coming up and you might be wondering, "How can I stay fit and not gain weight?" The first thing I want you to do is to not put too much pressure on yourself. The holidays are all about enjoying yourself, and even if you find yourself eating more than usual, it's okay. The holidays only last for a couple of days. Relax, go with the flow, spend time with family, try out some Christmas recipes, drink hot chocolate, and dance to your favorite holiday music.
Better ask to remember times when I'm broke down. I did not just come up, I got to get a bag for the fam now, but I got no money to lean on. Got a cold heart in a cold world ever since you left. I don't know what's next.
I found super exciting news, you guys! I recently ordered my first pair of Gymshark athletic wear from the Black Friday sale and it finally came in. I've been wanting to purchase from Gymshark for such a long time and I'm so glad I finally came around to doing it. I'm absolutely in love with this set I'm wearing. Not only is it comfortable, but it makes me feel confident and good about myself.
Double OT, I need more sleep, so don't test me. I don't want this again.
Your fitness journey isn't your weight loss journey. It's not a journey that should end. It should be a lifestyle. It should be ongoing. Your fitness journey is about finding balance, finding a healthier relationship with food, and the love for your body. Your fitness journey is more than just what's on the outside. It's more than just looks. I've said this before and I'll say it again: if you want to stay consistent with your workouts, you need to get excited. Find workouts that will get you pumped, workouts that you love doing. There are so many fitness channels out there on YouTube, and all you have to do is experiment. Find workout videos that will make you feel happy. While results aren't everything, they can definitely motivate you to keep going. It all starts with a want. If you want results, then you're going to find a time in your day to do at least 30 minutes of exercising. Ask yourself why. Why are you doing what you're doing? Are you working out to feel better, more alive and awake? Are you working out because you love the feeling of sweat run down your forehead? Or are you working out to get stronger or to look a certain way? The reasons are endless. Find your reason and everything will be so much easier. Don't work out because you have to, work out because you want to. You are special. You are your own person. You have your talents and gifts to share to the world. You're here to do something great, no matter how big or small it is. Don't let other people's progress discourage you. I remember comparing myself to other YouTubers who are succeeding and growing way quicker. I remember looking looking back and asking myself, what am I doing wrong? Why is no one watching my videos? And that mindset stopped me from reaching my full potential. Now I try my best to focus on my own growth, being grateful for where I am right now, knowing that if I keep going, keep making videos, it'll be so worth it. Not comparing yourself to others can be hard. No matter how successful someone is, we all compare ourselves to someone at one point in our lives. But bringing awareness to those thoughts and looking at the positives in your life will help get rid of the negativity.
I'm worried about the way I've been living. I'm worried that you'll look at me different. I'm worried that this will all change. I'm worried about keeping you safe. I'm worried that I'm not that lucky.
If you're just starting your fitness journey or are transitioning to home workouts, having the right equipment is a must. So you can keep building muscle and strength. Right now I'm going to share a few of my favorite at-home gym equipment to hopefully give you ideas. So the first piece of equipment that has honestly been a game changer are resistance bands. Some benefits of resistance bands are they help focus on your control, they are a great alternative to gym machines, they're lightweight and another great alternative if you don't want to lift heavy, and bands are overall great to use to activate your glute muscles. Another piece of equipment that is a must if you're transitioning to working out at home or are just starting your fitness journey are dumbbells or a kettlebell. Now, if you want a toned and lean physique, using weights in your workouts is essential. Don't expect to get toned arms or legs just by doing cardio. Whether it's using 5, 10, or 20-pound dumbbells, strength training will help blast fat and make your muscles more defined on top of that. The third piece of equipment that I have and recommend are ankle weights. I love using them when I do donkey kicks, squat jumps, kickbacks, etc. They are basically dumbbells that you can wrap around your ankles or even strap around your arms and are great if you're looking to turn an easy workout into a more difficult one. Don't chase a perfect diet, exercise routine, or body. Don't make your fitness journey a journey that will make you miss out on life. Your real fitness journey will start the moment you find that balance between everything you do. Make 2021 your year. Say no to the scale, to calorie counting, to restrictive diets. Say no to diet culture, the unrealistic body standards that are only bringing you down. Say yes to exercising when you want to. Say yes for wanting a strong, healthy body, and say yes to enjoying all foods.
Said we cool, but you a liar on some bitch shit. You see big bodies in my clothes, bros. If you ain't buy me, you could stay home.
Living a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle is about eating what you crave, exercising and resting when you feel like it, and prioritizing health and happiness over being skinny. Make your fitness journey a lifelong journey. Start your fitness journey not because you hate your body, but because you love it and you want to care for it. Start your journey for yourself, not for other people. Be ready to make mistakes. Be ready to encounter hard days, but never quit. Keep going because at the end of the day, it will all be worth it. I love you all so much. Thank you for watching this video. Remember, you are beautiful, intelligent, and worth so much more than you know. Take care of yourself, and I'll see you guys next time.
