Skip job boards and message employees at companies you want to work for. Find hiring companies on Wellfound, then cold message their staff on LinkedIn with a brief intro and your accomplishments. More messages means more replies.

When it comes to applying to jobs, you gotta use the third door. Don't just send in applications through company websites. You gotta cold message and cold email as much as you can. This advice was actually given by my friend Jen, so thank you, Jen. First, what you do is you go on Wellfound, a job board, and you search up all companies who are actively hiring on there. And then you go on LinkedIn and search up employees from those companies and try to message as many employees as you can, stating your name. You go into listing adjectives such as you're a jack of all trades, self-driven, passionate, ambitious, and then you go into listing some of your accomplishments and then send a similar format like this to as many people as you can. I'm telling you guys, the more responses you send, the more likelihood of a reply. So try this out and let me know how it goes. Good luck!
