In this vlog, Julia Fedorin shares a slow Saturday morning in Victoria, BC, beginning with breakfast, a phone call to her friend Mila, and laundry. She outlines her to‑do list: budgeting for the week, signing up for an internship‑required course, and a planned Instagram photo shoot in her office lobby. She details the challenges of finding durable tights, setting up a tripod, phone mount, and an Octobuddy for the shoot, and reflects on editing work versus exploring the city. After the office session, she walks through Beacon Hill Park, marveling at the lush green grass and the sea‑filled beach, repeatedly expressing gratitude and excitement about the island lifestyle. She notes the seaweed smell, compares her desire for a SoCal beach experience to the reality of Victoria’s coastline, and ends with a low‑battery warning, emphasizing how much she wishes she could spend a full day enjoying the scenery.

I can smell the seaweed! I can smell the seaweed! Is this even real, guys? Is this even real? Good morning everyone, it is Saturday, the first Saturday in Victoria, and I had a very nice slow morning. I woke up, made myself some breakfast, which by the way I will be doing a what I eat in a week and quick and easy breakfast ideas video, or no, like food idea, meal idea videos for a future video. So you'll see like more about the type of food I eat, how I grocery shop, and everything in that video, so stay tuned. But yeah, it was a very delicious breakfast. I also called my best friend Mila, updated her with everything, and now I am doing my laundry because I just I washed my clothes and I just have to put them away. Today is going to be a very exciting day because I have a few things I want to do. The first thing I want to do is I actually want to do a little like photo shoot at work. Office is open 24/7 every single day, even on the weekends. So I'm actually gonna head to the lobby of my office and I want to take some photos for Instagram because I want to like, you know, post on Instagram that finally here. I'm gonna do some editing and I also have to do a bunch of like other like little mini tasks. Like I actually have to write down my week's budget because I am tracking, but I actually haven't had a chance to input all the numbers in a spreadsheet just yet. So I have to do that for this week, and then I have to start my, my course for school. I do have like this required course I have to take as part of an internship program, so I have to at least sign up and start that. Before I head out, I made myself a little salad and a rice cake just to kind of fuel because I'm gonna be out all day and I'm not gonna be buying anything other than boba. I really want to buy boba today, but yeah, I'm just gonna eat this, watch the videos, and then I'm gonna start heading out. Hey guys, so I'm at the change room of my office building gym and I'm about to just get into my work clothes because we're gonna be doing a little photo shoot up in the lobby. It's empty right now, there's no one there, which is perfect because I just want to take photos freely. It's going to be a little tough because I don't have anyone to take photos of me. Also, a little funny story. So you know how I've been wearing tights with my dresses and skirts? Well, I've already ripped two of my tights. The ones I brought from, from Ontario, they ripped after a week, and then the ones I recently bought like 2 days ago, they also ripped like the next day. So I invested in a little bit more, hopefully higher quality tights I found at the store. Instead of $8, they're $20, but hopefully they don't rip because guys. I've like been going through tights like crazy. I just wasted like $9 on tights. Like, I just wasted $9. These are a little on the darker side, but hopefully they still work. Okay guys, I just put on my outfit. This is my absolutely favorite work outfit. I think it's so stylish. It's all black, of course. So yeah, let's go take some photos. Okay, so I'm gonna think— I'm gonna start by taking photos right here. So I have a few locations in this building that I really like. I like this like pathway that leads from the main lobby to our office building, and also like the front over there. But we're gonna start here. So yeah, hopefully no one sees me because it's gonna be kind of awkward. I also realized I have this little Octobuddy that I bought a while back that I can be glued onto windows, which— that's actually a really good idea. I might start testing with this. And then I also have my little tripod that I brought, which I'm definitely going to be using. And I also brought this little phone mount right here. It goes right here. This is the next location I'm taking photos. So I think I got a good amount of photos. I think I'll find like a few good ones in there. Now let's go put on our comfy clothes and we're gonna do some editing. I was editing and thinking to myself like, what am I doing? Why am I sitting in inside when I could be exploring. During the day I'm going to try to limit my editing and just try to do it after work or when it's darker. It's crazy how green the grass is here, guys. It's so, so green. Right now I'm walking through Beacon Hill Park. I'm We're pretty much on the way to the beach. I'm really excited to see it. This is so gorgeous. Look! Oh my gosh, I can't. I'm so grateful I'm living here. Guys, I made it to the water, to the beach. Oh my God, I'm definitely gonna be running here, guys. Tomorrow morning I am going on a run here. Guys, this is crazy! I am on the beach! This is insane! Oh my gosh! Is this even real, guys? Is this even real? I'm so excited. This is by far my favorite spot. By far my favorite spot. Hello! Hello! My battery is desperately low on the phone. I have like around 30% left, so I have to get going home before it dies. But oh my gosh, today was such a beautiful day. I just need a full day. I literally need to spend a full day here. You can also smell seaweed, guys. You can smell the seaweed. Oh my gosh, I can smell the seaweed. That's insane. Oh my gosh, it's so pretty. I can't believe it. This is exactly what I dreamed of. Like, this is exactly what I wanted, guys. The reason why I wanted to go to San Francisco, SoCal is because I wanted to experience the beach and the palm trees and everything, but I have it here and I don't need to go anywhere else. I can't. I'm so happy, you guys. You can't— you don't even know how grateful I am for everything.
