THE SECRET TO REINVENTING YOUR BODY & MIND | What I Eat in A Week For Happiness, Health & Abundance

In this vlog, 19‑year‑old Julia Fedorin shares her personal journey toward discovering lasting happiness and outlines a practical framework for reinventing one’s mind and body. She argues that happiness is not a destination to be found but a state that must be cultivated internally through mindset shifts, gratitude, authentic affirmations, patience, and self‑love. Julia critiques superficial self‑improvement tactics that focus solely on diet, workouts, or external validation, emphasizing instead that mental transformation precedes physical change. She discusses the power of letting go, being comfortable alone, and attracting genuine relationships by aligning with one’s true passions. The video also includes a brief sponsor plug for Brevite backpacks, daily vlogs of campus life, and a call to view fitness as a form of self‑respect and a holistic mind‑body partnership. Throughout, she weaves philosophical references (Buddha, Eckhart Tolle, Oprah) and personal anecdotes to illustrate how gratitude, patience, and present‑moment awareness can unlock a “dream life” without needing luxury or fame.

What do you want in life? I want to be happy. I want to find happiness. Well, I hate to break it to you, but you can't find happiness. Happiness doesn't need to be found. There's no path to happiness. Happiness isn't the end goal. You need to learn how to be happy now, or else you'll never be happy no matter what you have or what you end up doing. Doing. The question now is, how do you unlock this happiness that is within you all along? You've come to the right place. I'll show you how. Today I'm going to be diving into all of the secrets to reinventing yourself, your mind, and your body. As cheesy and unrealistic and as clickbait as this sounds, I want to show you how you can start forming your dream right now. You might be like, wait, that's impossible. How can I ever make my dream life happen right now? School is so stressful. I mean, I haven't even graduated. I don't know what I want to do. I still haven't found my passions. There's just so much going on. There's no way my dream life could happen at this instance. What if I told you it can? Now, I don't want to be like all the other influencers that tell you to do this, do that, because really that's for you to decide. What I do want to do is tell you my story on how I recently discovered my true meaning of happiness and how for 2 months now I've been living a life that's too good to be true. Now I'm not saying this to brag, there's really nothing to brag about. It's not like I became a millionaire, some kind of famous celebrity, started traveling the world, buying fashion from luxury brands. I'm still the same person doing the same things, going to the same school, sleeping in the same bed, editing on the same computer, driving the same old car, wearing the same clothes, exercising in the same room, and living the same ordinary life. And now you're probably like, "Why are you even talking then? Why should we listen to you? You're not even successful. In the title you said here's what you should do to create your dream life, but clearly it seems like you're not even living your own dream life." Oh, but I am. Not the stereotypical luxury dream life you're probably picturing in your head right now, but it's honestly all I could ever ask for. Like I said, the funny thing is nothing new happened. Nothing changed. I'm the same person externally, but mentally I feel different. Mentally, I feel at peace. I'm a 19-year-old who hasn't really achieved anything profound, yet I found my version of true happiness, and I know you can too. Don't be so rude. Don't got nothing left to say. Now I'm running far away. I want my first episode of this new series I'm starting, Unlocking Your Inner Happiness, to be dedicated to advice on reinventing your mindset, because I wholeheartedly believe without a mindset shift, nothing will ever change. And that's the harsh reality. You're acting— We spend so much time figuring out how to lose weight, how to look better, how to find body acceptance, self-love, and we do this by looking at all these external sources like diet plans, workout routines, and self-care products with the belief that these things will somehow help create a new and improved version of ourselves. That's just bullshit. I don't mean to swear, but I think we're looking at self-improvement in the wrong light. You think, and I for the longest time thought, this glow-up recipe to become that girl came from changing your environment, changing everything around you. And while it's true, these changes won't come unless you first change your mindset. <LYRICS>Behind— I'm so sorry for dreaming about the future—</LYRICS> One of the first things I recently realized is it's always been mental over physical. Mindset overlooks. For the longest time, I've strived for weight loss. I've strived to change my body, but I should have been striving to change my mindset. I've never been happy with the way I look, as I've established so many times at this point. I never thought I was pretty. I always thought I was fat. I never thought I deserved friends. I could never actually fathom this idea that some cute boy would ever have a crush on me. Hey guys, I'm in a bathroom stall right now and I just wanted to like let you guys know I'm at school right now. It's around 9:04 and I have a class that starts in around 16 minutes, so I'm gonna head to class right now. But yeah, very nice outfit. As you can see, I'm wearing sweatpants. This is— meh. No matter how many diets I went on, no matter how many workouts I did, no matter how much I restricted myself, I never ever felt skinny enough. There was never a point in my life where I said, "Wow, I'm happy with how I look. All my hard work is paying off." Even though going through photo albums, I clearly was never overweight. Externally, I looked good, but I had a hard time noticing that because my mindset was distorted, disconnected, and needed to be charged. Alright, so welcome to our second in-person lecture today. We are covering today the topic of dramatism, Kenneth Burke's theory. If you focus on the mindset and work on correcting it, then everything around you, including your appearance, changes. How you view yourself in society at large depends on your mindset. Your mindset is connected to everything. Everywhere you go and every task you you do is linked to your mentality. Your mindset is the root of your existence. Your mindset will determine whether you grow and expand into this beautiful flower or stay as a bud, undeveloped and closed off. Buddha was completely spot on when he said, "What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. And what you imagine, you create." That's why when it comes to reinventing and transforming your life, your mindset is the first step to that process. Countless people on the web, countless gurus, philosophers, religious leaders, and CEOs say gratitude is the secret to everlasting happiness. But I never actually believed that was the only thing. I mean, it's about working hard, never stopping until you reach the top. But I've realized there's more to gratitude than just saying saying, "I am grateful." If you want your affirmations to work, you have to mean it from the heart. Words are just words if you speak from the mouth, but if you start speaking from your soul, then your words become reality. Everyone could come up with things that they are grateful for. It's not that hard. The hard part is actually preaching what you say. Like I said, your mouth can say one thing, but what you feel can be the opposite. It's about really connecting with your internal being. Author of the book The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle, said, acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance. And Oprah Winfrey said, if you're thankful for what you have, you'll actually end up having more. But if you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never ever have enough. It seems counterproductive, but the more grateful you are, the more you will get. Now even though I've been super satisfied with life recently, that doesn't mean I don't have any resolutions to work on. I'm definitely still nowhere near the person I want to become, and if anything, I think that's great news that I still have a long way to go. Hey guys, I'm all ready for school. I have my sweatpants on like always. I have I have this different black long sleeve and I have a necklace. Two classes, let's go! The joy in life is improving and bettering yourself every day. That's what makes living so fun, and I don't ever want to be done with that. As adolescents, our lives have basically just begun. We are slowly preparing to enter into the world as our own people, and for many of us, our hopes is to be referred beyond just our name, but someone who's contributing to the greater good in society. I got a backpack in the mail. It's a green backpack and I'm gonna start wearing it tomorrow. Let's open it right now. Wow, that's nice. Okay, so this is the backpack. So handy. And this is my favorite color, so it's great. Now it's time for a little intermission. Let me introduce the sponsor of today's video, Brevite. Brevite is a brand that sells insanely functional backpacks with better materials, better function, and a better impact. Now I have a ton of backpacks lying around in my room, but when I tell you this one is my favorite, I genuinely mean it. Brevite has two types of bags to choose from: the Everyday bags and the Camera bags. And I have the Everyday backpack in the color Pine Green, which I've loved using for school and will also definitely be using for traveling and upcoming trips. As you can see, it can hold a lot. Don't underestimate it, it's small but it's mighty. So make sure to go to www.brevite.co/juliafedorin or use Julia Fedorin at checkout to receive 10% off your first purchase. I just want to reassure you that having lots of things to work on is far from being a bad thing. It just means you're a human that's growing, a human that's continuously rising to their fullest potential. Hi everyone! So right now I'm walking through campus. It's early in the morning. I have a class— there's a goose. Okay, I have a class that starts at 9:30, so I'm heading there now, and this is what I'm doing. Gonna go to class. Let's smash this day. Let's make it good. Finally, achieving happiness doesn't mean you become ideal. It doesn't mean thinking you have it all figured out. If anything, happiness is accepting the fact that you will never have it all figured out. And instead of worrying about the future and replaying the past, happy people learn how to live in the moment. You've all heard the saying that the moment is all we have, and that's so true that while it's still good to reflect the past and think of the future, don't forget to leave room for the present, because without the present, there wouldn't be any past or future to begin with. Fighting the sun, but then again, I see my friends speaking about peace. One of the qualities I really need to work on this year is patience. I've never had any patience for the life of me, and while lacking Even if it hasn't been too detrimental for my life, it will become my downfall at some point. So before it escalates, I should probably think about the things I could do to improve it. So what is patience? You probably define patience as just sitting and waiting, but there's more to it than just that. Here's a quote I found from the internet: Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. Patience is about learning how to tolerate delay. It's about believing that everything comes to you at the right time. As cliché and common of a quote, "Good things come to those who wait" is, it's absolutely true. Rushing into relationships, into a job, into an opportunity, into doing this and doing that isn't always the right path take. Not everything is in our control, and we must accept the fact that sometimes things must unfold on their own time, not the time you think is right. It's really about putting your trust into the universe, into God, and having hope that everything will turn out okay, even if it doesn't turn out the way you expect. Do you find this weird? I find everything you do weird. Really? Yeah? That's okay, that's good. Woo! I'm jumping over waves for a minimal gaze. Running at the top, but they say it's a phase. Taking down costs like spending the day. Making up ground like we paving the way. If you've watched my previous videos, I've mentioned that I've always had trouble making friends. I felt very lonely. Looking at people on social media having best friends and having all these awesome friend circles made me jealous. I felt so left out, especially constantly knowing that my teen years wouldn't last and all the fun I could be having would never happen because I was too of a loser. I constantly feared being alone. Eventually, however, I learned to accept it. Besides, it's better to be alone than with a group of people who don't want you around or with a group of people you can't relate to. And so for most of my high school years, I was my own friend. And during the pandemic, I became my own best friend. I stopped obsessing obsessively looking for friendships and rather began to develop a relationship with myself. This was a decision I'm so happy I chose. And now that I genuinely enjoy my own company, now that I've stopped chasing people, true friends are coming to me. Friends that accept me for who I am, and I couldn't be more grateful. So what's the lesson here? Learn to be alone without feeling lonely. The moment you become your own best friend, friend is the moment you'll start to notice genuine friendships come into your life. I also want to share another one of my profound realizations: don't chase, but rather let go and it will find you. Chasing friends, followers, fame, and so on and so forth will only push you backwards. We think that when we chase, we achieve. We're all taught to go after what we want, to never stop looking, Because when we stop looking, we are essentially giving up, right? When we stop looking, we don't care. But how false is that? Everything that is meant to be yours will be yours. Hey guys, so I have to write a test in— actually, I have to write a test right now, but before I do that, I'm gonna fuel myself and have a little quick lunch. I like to have mini lunches. I used to be a big fan of making like nourish bowls, but now like this little lunch snack does it for me. So I'm gonna eat that and yeah, I'm gonna do my psychology test, which hopefully I don't fail, but we'll see. I used to be super jealous of other people's success, the success that I wanted, but now this jealousy is no longer present. Why? Because I'm no longer as insecure as I was before. Finally know my worth. I finally know that I'm capable of so much. I know that whatever I put my mind on, I will achieve. I'm no longer jealous because I'm happy with myself. I'm happy with just the way I am. At least most days. It can also be seen the other way around. I am happy because I am no longer jealous. And this is actually one of the big reasons as to why I'm I'm so at peace, why my life is too good to be true right now. It's because I'm finally free from this big bag of jealousy that I've been carrying all my life. Uh-uh. So, es tut mir leid. Entschuldigung. Once again, when it comes to when it comes to making friends and finding love, it's so important not to chase. The secret ingredient to developing genuine relationships is to start doing what you love. When you start doing what you love, you're going to attract relationships with people who are also doing what they love. You will always attract an equal reflection. And if you're not being your most authentic and true self, then you're going to encounter relationships with people who are also hiding their true self. We don't want that. That's why it's so important to focus on you. And if someone isn't choosing you, it doesn't mean you're not worth it. It just means that they weren't the right person. And if anything, they're doing you a favor. They're opening room for someone better for you to come in. And once you realize that the universe is working in your favor, you'll no longer feel so attached to other people. The reason I couldn't let this one person I was so deeply in love with go is because I thought by letting them go, I would lose a part of me. I would lose meaning. I thought by letting them go, I wouldn't find another person as good as them. I thought they were my only chance for love. For a while, it was hard for me to imagine being with someone else. But the power of letting go is when you let go, you make room for new meaning. You make room for new energy to come into your life. So letting go is a beautiful thing. In that is not real. Be in a relationship with yourself first. And once you start liking a relationship you're in with yourself, then the right people will come to you. That's why there's no need to chase. When you chase, you're telling yourself you don't have something. In reality, you have everything you need. Brothers, okay, while I'm working out in this very nice empty gym, let me talk briefly about reinventing your body. Taking care Taking care of your body is just as important as taking care of your mind. Besides, you are made up of your mind and body, and giving both your fullest attention is crucial to creating happiness. What is fitness for me? For me, fitness, exercise, working out is a form of self-respect. Regular exercise is a way of honoring our entire being. It's a way of saying yes to ourselves. It's a way of allowing us to actually show up in our lives. When you partner with your your own body, you're partnering with all the other parts of you as well. There's no split between mind and body. There is just you. Giving it life, it's up to you to decide. And I'm sick of this shit, sick of you sinking the ship. It is a gift to exist, never forget. Thinking you're ready to quit, I know you're bigger than this. And your fitness should be a priority in your life because your life is a priority. When you decide to be fit, you've decided to take control, and self-control leads leads to balance. When you listen to your body, you're also listening to everything else: your head, your heart, your spirit. Don't view exercise as this chore or a punishment. View exercise as going on a date with yourself, as me time away from the screen, away from school, away from work. Make exercise a crucial part of your day, of your life. Not only will you feel good, but you also feel strong and incredible. If you believe that your life cannot be happy unless you're feeling 100% happy 24 hours a day, then you're going to get the opposite result. You're in some trouble. You're going to make yourself feel desperately unhappy simply by trying to be happy all the time. We are all going to go through things that make us sad or annoyed or angry or disappointed. Hard knocks are a natural part of life. The expression happiness is a choice may be overused, but it's true. Happiness is born when we realize that we don't have to be victims of circumstances, that life can offer us more freedom than we have ever dreamed possible. No matter what's going on in our lives right now, creating your dream life isn't about reaching everlasting joy and perfection. Creating a dream life entails knowing that we are indeed going to encounter emotionally difficult situations. Truly optimistic people do not deny or ignore the fact that bad things can and do happen. Realistic optimists do not deny that life has its ups and downs, nor do they deny the reality of loss in our lives. We cannot go through life without losing something or someone we love. Loss is real. It's painful. It hurts. We shed tears. We feel broken. But happiness can only exist if loss is real. What does it mean to be happy? How do we unlock this happiness within us? This question is impossible to answer because everyone has their own version of happiness, but I do wish people could realize that all their dreams, wealth, and fame is not where you're going to find your sense of completion. There is nothing bigger than yourself. You are already enough. There is nothing that anyone in the world can offer you that you can't offer yourself. Learn to be happy on your own because then you can be happy with others. The work you put in reinventing and transforming yourself will not only change you, but it will change your life and the way you view the world. That's why taking care of your well-being and developing self-love is the most important thing you could do, because with that, everything else starts falling into place. Like I mentioned beginning, your internal will manifest into the external. So what's the secret to reinventing and creating your dream life? It starts from right here. Happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. So choose your thoughts wisely.
