A client portal can integrate with 1Password to share passwords securely instead of using Slack or email. The 1Password SDK lets you connect to an existing account or create a shared vault automatically within the portal.
Now the cool thing in our case here is they already connected some of the things, but now for any other tools, we can, we can have either or, but we can also have both. If they are already using 1Password, which is the password and secrets manager that we are using, they can directly connect, or they can, we can create a new shared vault that will be created by the SDK in our 1Password, where they can then actually have like a built-in password manager in their client portal, where they can share passwords with us securely. So they don't have— those don't have to be sent into Slack, but instead they are shared securely directly via 1Password, which is quite awesome, right?
