After a 13-day break in Cyprus with family, the speaker is back to streaming and refocusing on business development. He finished a video sales letter for his website, hired a server administrator who fixed an email setup issue, and is now recruiting an N8n automation engineer and a Next.js developer while planning cold outreach to potential clients.
Hi man, how you doing? It's been, yeah, it's been some time. I actually haven't, haven't streamed since I think the 14th, so that, that has been 13 days or something like that. Reason for that was because my family was visiting me here in Cyprus, right? So they came in and I pretty much, I pretty much did not work. I did not work that much. I didn't work that much while my family was here. We did a lot of cool things, finally got outside a bit. Um, yeah, now I'm back. I'm back to work. Now I'm back to work and therefore back to, back to a bit of streaming. I might be a bit more brown, not as pale as I used to be. Oh man, that looks horrendous. That little bit of a beard looks horrendous. So you took a vacation? Yeah, kind of. I mean, I still worked, but I didn't have like this— I primarily work on client projects still. Um, I, I didn't, I didn't work on the company directly. I worked on client projects. So everything that was necessary to continue to keep everything up, I did. Because I mean, I don't, I don't have the pleasure yet to just, to just take a vacation. I don't have, I don't have that pleasure. Clients are still here and I don't have anyone else to, uh, to take care of them. So yeah, I am still, I'm still on that. That's what they always say, like, if you're— like, if you're an entrepreneur and you become sick, there's nothing you can do. Yeah, true. I don't become sick though. I'm healthy. But yeah. That right now. Right now my, my focus really is— I thought suspended from YouTube because of all the copyrighted music I played. Nah, no worries, no worries. I am, I am not suspended. I'm still here and I'll, I'll continue, I'll continue streaming now. It was just that, that bit of time because the work was kind of split up a lot, pretty much where I um, like I would work for like an hour or two and then like go outside, do something, and then come back and work a bit. And yeah, and like starting the stream every time, then ending it, starting again, ending it. Yeah, I don't know. Um, I mean, I guess my goal was kind of to, to document, like to be able to look back. So it would have made sense to just start the stream in the morning, and as I'm not here It just, it just runs without me being there. Probably would have made sense, but then again, I had guests here. I had guests here as well, at my family here. So yeah, last time I saw you, you were making a YouTube video. Oh, I was, I was I was recording the VSL. I was recording the VSL for the website. I actually finished it. I'm not super happy with it, but I finished it. I finished it and put it live on the website. It wasn't actually a YouTube video, it was a like a VSL that I put on the website. And yeah, it's live. Not super happy with it. I basically did it off stream. Or finished it, um, finish it off stream. I'll definitely re-record it at some point, but not, not right now. I just, I just took that and yeah, but yeah, right now the, the focus is really on, um, okay, I guess, I guess sales call setup. I guess what I'm doing right now is kind of wasting my time as well. It's, it's kind of it's kind of, um, doing some other work to kind of not do the actual work. Yeah, what I should be doing right now is pretty much like cold emailing as well as, um, like basically mass outreach to, to potential clients as well as potential hires, right? I need, I need to get, definitely get a proper good account manager on board. And then also, I actually did hire someone— not hire them, I got them on contractor basis— which is a server admin pretty much. Because for pretty much all the clients, what I'm doing is, or what we're doing, is setting up a custom server. And then on that server, we're deploying all of the tools that are needed. And just to make sure that everything is deployed well and securely, everything is, um, it's up to date, pretty much always updated, like everything's secure, everything's looking good. If anything's happening ever, to have a contact, pretty much got a server admin on board. And he seems to be a great fit. He's, he's kind of overqualified for this, but yeah, I'm happy, I'm happy he's on board. He instantly, he found an issue. Not an issue with that, but an issue with the email setup actually. So that's a good sign. But yeah, now I'm looking. I am looking for N8n as well as like kind of Next.js TypeScript person that is familiar with these tools and ideally good with these tools, that would be great. And the plan with that, the plan with that, and I actually planned that with AI as well. Planning everything with AI now, kind of, kind of pathetic, huh? Let me, let me find it. Uh, uh-uh. Oh, I have it in there. The plan with that is, if I find the— if I can find the document. Do I have it on here? I might have it on here. Paper. Nope, I do not. Okay, I definitely have it somewhere.
