Hey, guys. Welcome back to Turn up the Heat. And the big thing I want to talk about today is what does it truly mean to heal? Because we've talked about it so often of creating wholeness, creating oneness, and truly being healthy. But I think oftentimes we forget that in order to be healthy, we need to heal. And I brought a little acronym into this so that we could actually start to see it in a different way and have a little paradigm shift. So the H stands for honest. So many of us aren't actually honest with where we're at. We're not honest with how much junk food we're eating. We're not honest with how much quality sleep we're getting. We're not honest with how our relationships are. We're not honest with our relationship with ourself. And when we can get honest about where we're at, it's not a judgment on where we're at. It's simply being honest with where we are so that we can ultimately determine where we need to make changes in order to get to where we want to go. So E stands for engage. We have to engage ourself deeply. We have to make sure that we are engaging in these different activities and not just thinking that we're taking action in a powerful way, but actually doing it. Engaging a coach, engaging a friend, engaging ourselves, engaging our kids, engaging our pastor. Who do we have to engage in order to get to where we want to go so that they can thus hold us accountable? Accountability. We have to have some level of accountability around us so that we can make sure that we can lean into something powerfully. And then L is learn. It's not enough just to do random things and put it on a checklist, because that's what we've been told. We have to learn something about ourself. We have to understand our body at a better level. We have to understand our mind. We have to understand our emotions at a better level and have thus a process in order to continue to make it repeatable. So you don't have to depend on somebody, a person, a place, or a thing in order to be successful in this. You empower yourself to make a change. And that is what true healing looks like. That's what true health looks like. And it's available to you. 2.
