13 hours in Lufthansa's first class from Frankfurt to Tokyo is not long enough. Here's why. Hour number one, we got acquainted with our seats, enjoyed our welcome drinks, made friends with flight attendants and took hour number two. We checked out the bathroom and opened our amenity kits. Hour number three, we researched every single movie option using the free wi fi and talked about how incredibly happy we are to be on this flight. Fun fact, the only way to sit together on their 747is by sitting behind the bar area and in the only aisle seats, the pilot's actually above us. Hour number four, we ate our delicious six course dinner together. Nate started with caviar and I got the fruit salad. The cauliflower flower soup was no doubt the highest and the five pieces of bread that I ate with hour number five, we changed into these very bougie PJs. Well done. Lufthansa used all the free amenities, of course, and watched a movie until hour number six when our seats were converted into cozy beds. And we slept all the way until hour number 12 when our lovely flight attendant brought me coffee in bed and even gave me this adorable to go mug to keep as a souvenir. We spent the last hour wishing it wasn't over and getting this incredible view of Mount Fuji. And that's why.
