We have two very important announcements. Number one, earlier this month, our channel reached 900,000 subscribers.
900,000. That is so many people. But if we're being completely honest, it's really easy to watch numbers on the screen inch up and forget that those are real people. The way I've started thinking about this to help me put it into perspective, is to imagine our old college football stadium filled with people. Nayland Stadium holds just over a hundred thousand people. And when we publish a video and it gets 100,000 views, it's like, oh, yeah, that video's doing well. But when I think about a stadium full of people watching one of our videos.
And 900,000 subscribers, that's nine stadiums full of people who have move their finger and click a button that says, I want to see more from these people.
I think what Nate is trying to say is this is crazy. We are super grateful. We never thought we would find ourselves here and we owe so many of you a huge thank you. So to celebrate, we are giving away three nights at one of the coolest places we stayed all year. Remember when we stayed in this incredible treetop cabin in the Norwegian countryside? We want to give one lucky winner and their plus one the opportunity to stay in this amazing place for three nights. These cabins are truly an escape. It feels like you're in the middle of nowhere.
This is so cute.
You can enjoy the views while laying in the world's comfiest bed. Relax by the fire, cook a delicious meal that's hopefully better than mine was.
And just completely disconnect from the outside world to rest, relax, and recharge yourself in this beautiful place. But I know you want more.
Earlier this year, we launched Fair Drop, our service that helps you find super cheap flights at up to 80% off. I've always thought it would be so cool to have a company that could sponsor things. And today I get to make that a reality because Fair Drop is going to sponsor the flights for the winter to Norway. So you win three nights at the Pantry Top cabins, plus free flights to Norway.
To enter the giveaway, just click the link in the description below. You officially enter by entering your email, but you can get up to three extra entries by doing a few other things. You'll see it.
So good luck to everyone who enters. And if you're thinking, oh, I'm not going to take the time to, because I'm one of those people that never wins anything, that's exactly what our last two winners thought.
Like Randy, who won a trip to Everest Base Camp which was his number one bucket list item. And then Emily and Chris, who won a one week camper van trip with karma. Camper vans. And they used it for their honeymoon.
I promise. Promise. We choose this completely randomly using a software. But somehow this software has magical powers to always choose the right person. There's always a fun story behind it.
It's so great. I love it.
Okay, important thing number two.
A few weeks ago, we posted a video announcing that we wanted you to choose our hundredth country. So we listed out all the countries that we haven't been to yet, and over 6,60,000 people voted.
Where were we? Important thing number two, I'd love to sit down and like have these videos be really casual, but then this would end up being 20 minutes and we wouldn't even put all the information that we wanted to tell you in it.
So we have talking points notes.
Oh, yeah. So now we've narrowed it down to our top 10 and you get to vote again. And whichever country is in the lead after this next round of voting is going to be our 100 country.
So click the other link in the description below and you can see what the top 10 countries are. And then vote for our hundredth.
I can't believe this is happening.
Okay, let's wrap this up.
Okay, there's one more thing. We are going to be dangerously close to reaching our hundred country goal at the same time as 1 million subscribers. I can't even believe I'm saying that right now.
How crazy would it be if, like, our two biggest goals in life over the last few years collided at the same time?
It's gonna be so close. But I don't. I don't.
So we don't normally do this. We actually, we rarely do this. But if you watch our videos and you enjoy our videos and you're not subscribed, please take 2 seconds to hit the subscribe button, please. And since we're doing it while you're over there, close to the subscribe button. If you want to get notified when our new videos come out, you could also hit the bell. But yeah, it just like, we don't usually ask for it, but it really.
Helps us out and it would be so cool.
Steal a friend's phone, create a new account. No, don't do that.
YouTube knows some people just getting out of hand.
Is there anything else? I feel like we should do a conclusion. Oh, yeah, we've talked a lot.
Okay, so in summary, today you have three pieces of homework.
The first thing you need to do is click the first link in the description and enter our 900k giveaway.
I said three, but I gave.
We can't think of three and then ask a friend to enter two and be like, I'll be your plus one if you win, and you'll be my plus one if I win.
What was the third thing?
It was enter the giveaway. Fair drop, subscribe, vote.
Enter the giveaway. Vote and subscribe.
Ah, you're right. Okay, so this video has gotten a lot longer than intended for our very short announcement. So enter the giveaway. Vote, vote, and subscribe if you're not already.
We're really good at this.
We'll stick to travel vlogs from now on.
I don't know why I did that. Like, you're the teacher. You should be.
Okay, so the first thing you're gonna do is enter our 900k giveaway. If you like. Too much.
Too much.
Oh, so the first thing that you need to do tonight.
Perfect.
First thing you need.
Now this feels like insulting.
