5 AIRPORT LOUNGES | FIRST & BUSINESS CLASS! 40 Hours Korea to Italy

A travel vlog by Kara and Nate Buchanan documenting a long travel day (about 30–40 hours) from South Korea to Italy with multiple airport lounge visits. The video emphasizes Priority Pass lounge access (including unusually high-quality lounges in Seoul and Bangkok, even a first-class lounge available via Priority Pass), lounge-hopping strategies during long layovers, and the creators' travel-hacking methods (they state the day cost them less than $100). Locations mentioned: Seoul (departure), Bangkok (10-hour layover with five lounges), Vienna (Sky Lounge), and Bologna (final destination).

Forget everything we said about our favorite Priority Pass lounge. This is it.
We have good news and we have bad news. We'll start with the bad. Today we're leaving South Korea and very sad because this is 100% one of our favorite countries.
Without a doubt.
We can't wait to come back. Can you say the good news?
The good news is we're about to be traveling for 30 hours. Is that what you wanted me to say?
Yeah.
The good news is we're going back to Italy and there are a lot of lounges in our future. We're going to be traveling for 30 hours straight.
It's going to be a long travel day.
So we're currently leaving one of our new favorite places in the world to go back to one of our old favorite places in the world.
So if you've been following our vlogs, you know that we were already in Italy not too long ago, staying in a couple's house named Napoleon.
We totally fell in love so much that we are planning a Vespa tour in the Italian countryside next summer.
We've never done anything like this before, but we just loved cruising around the countryside on the Vespa so much and we wanted other people to be able to experience it first. It just started as this idea that, hey, maybe we could bring some of our friends and family back next year. But now we're like full on planning a tour and planning to bring some of you guys. We're opening three trips next summer. We announced this via our email list a few weeks ago. The first trip sold out in less than two hours. We have a few spots left on the second trip and a few spots left on the third trip. So if you're watching this video and you're interested in coming with us, we'll put a link in the description below where you can get more information.
This trip that we're going to right now is to plan that trip.
Right now.
It's time to go to the lounge.
This is our first lounge of MIDI today and unfortunately we only have time for a quick coffee. So business class lounge, super fancy.
That is without a doubt one of the best Priority Pass lounges we've ever been to. Normally with Priority Pass, you can't get into business class lounges, but here in Seoul, that's not the case. Now we're about to board our 5 and 12 hour flight to Bangkok, where we'll sit for 10 hours before heading to Europe. When's it going to come?
That was such bad timing.
So this whole plane is Huge. There's three seats on this side, three seats in the middle and three seats on the other side. And there's an upstairs. We're in the very back. And all of a sudden it goes to two seats and we have all this space.
Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Y yeah.
Samurai style. We just arrived in Bangkok. We have 10 hours here. Our flight doesn't leave till like 11:30 tonight. So we're going to use our priority pass to hop around and go to a bunch of different lounges. Because most of the lounges here that you get into with priority pass have like a two hour limit. So that means five lounges are in our future.
Most of the lounges in this airport that are priority passed aren't that great.
However.
This one has a kit. Get ice creams.
Sometimes we become snobs when we enter an airport. It really doesn't take much to make us happy.
So it is currently 5pm we exceeded our time limit in the first lounge. But the lady was super nice. She actually drew me a vapor of how to get to another lounge. She was like, you only have a two hour time limit here, but all you have to do is just like walk and then. So yeah, I think we're going to another lounge that's the exact same lounge as this one just in another part of the airport.
Getting our steps in today.
Lounge number three. This one is so much nicer. It has the same name so it's like the same brand. This one is so super fancy. And you can order food at the restaurant.
Up at like the bar area they have all these different foods that you could order, including pag khimao. So if you come to the Bangkok airport, don't waste your time in terminal A where we were before this. Come straight to terminal D because this lounge is way better. We were just talking to the guy that works here. He said they just opened like six months ago. So it's pretty much brand new. We'll see if it compares with the street noodles though. Looks like it.
That's what I think. We'll just try to sit in this little corner undetected for as long as possible until they actually come and kick us out.
I just ordered some roasted duck in the lounge. No big deal. And it came with soup. And I ordered some Pacquiao. For me, you can order as much as you want. I'm getting super spoiled in this lounge. I'm gonna be really sad when they kick us out.
Thank you. Thank you. It is currently 7:30. We actually didn't get Kicked out of lounge there's started feeling really uncomfortable after we sat there for 30 minutes too long. So who knows how long you can actually get away with staying inside the lounge. But I'm changing my vote of the best priority pass lounge I've ever been to. This morning I said that first lounge we visited was this one definitely is. So two of the best priority pass lounges we've ever visited in one day. But now we're going to switch it up. Instead of going to another miracle lounge because there's like 10 of them in this airport, we're actually going to go to the Oman.
Luxury.
It's 8:30. We got kicked out not because we were there too long, but because they were closing. Now to lounge number five.
Forget everything we said about our favorite priority pass lounge. This is it. It's a first class lounge connected to the business class miracle lounge that we were in earlier. But it's first class and it's priority pass. This is crazy. The best part is the kitchen is connected in the middle of the two lounges so we can get the same pat canal from the same chef.
If this is your first time ever watching one of our vlogs, I don't want you to get the wrong impression. Because recently we had some people that have now become like full time viewers of the vlog tell us that they watched one of our lounge videos and got the complete wrong impression of us. That we were like trust fund kids who were gallivanting around the world spending all of our parents money. And that's definitely not the case. This entire day, including flights, cost us less than $100. So all of this, like the flying, all the lounge access, all of it has been done through travel hacking. And I've spent years, years like learning all this stuff, developing the skills and now we're putting it to good use. So I'm just telling you all this so you don't get the wrong impression. If this is the first video you ever watched and if you want to learn more about like all this travel hacking stuff, I'll put a couple links in the description below. I've created an ebook that's completely free called the Ultimate Guide to Lounge Access. It'll tell you how we've gotten into all these lounges for free. And I've also created an entire course on frequent flyer miles and travel hacking. Both of those links will be down below.
10 hours of lounge hopping went by way too quickly. It is now 11pm which is 1am Seoul time, which is what time my body Thinks it is right now. I got up at 4:45am this morning. So it's really long travel day. It's catching up with me. Looking forward to getting on the flight, hopefully getting some sleep.
We are probably about to watch a movie and pass out. So we will see you in Vienna.
Welcome to the Sky Lounge in Vienna, Austria. We are 30 hours into this travel day. We slept pretty terribly on the plane last night, but I'm feeling pretty good. It's my favorite cup of coffee. And we're about to board our last flight to Bologna, Italy.
We about to start up the engines within the next minutes. And so we start flying to run a bit later. It's over the course. Later. I will just aircraft from the previous flight.
See that white bus pulling way over there? As soon as we got to the airport, so we grabbed our bags. We jumped on a smaller bus to ride to the bus station to catch that bus.
To save $50 instead of taking the train. We knew it was gonna be close. We should have had plenty of time. Our flight was delayed about 30 minutes and that's what killed us. So we just ran over here. Now we have to ride back to the train station and see if we can catch the 12 o' clock train.
You owe us Austrian Airlines.
Such a bummer. We were so close. Got the train tickets heading to Bob and Gina's. This travel day is almost complete. We keep calling it a day, but it's more like two days. Like we're gonna be really close to 48 hours by the end of this.
Let's go find them.
We're back. How are you? Oh, it's so good to see you guys. I know.
You got hair tied.
It's actually been a while. I know.
Longer than the video this morning.
How are you?
