Nate and Kara are posting new videos Monday through Friday, uploaded between midnight and 2 AM while traveling. They're running a Skillshare promotion offering two free months, and Nate used it to learn After Effects for their new animated logo.

Sorry for interrupting the Peru series. As you might know, we're not in Peru anymore. I promise at a later date, we will fill you in with everything we've been doing and our plans. Here's a little clue of where we are now. If you follow us on Instagram, then you know exactly where we are and what we're doing, because I update it constantly. But this video is to tell you about two important announcements.
Important thing number one is that we are going to have a posting schedule moving forward. We know we've done a horrible job posting consistently these first three months, and that can be annoying for you because you come to YouTube expecting to see one of our videos and then it's not there. So from now on, Monday through Friday, five days a week, we're going to be posting a new video. We're not going to get as specific as time because we are still, like, traveling around, but you can probably count on it being between like midnight and 2am because that's when Kara normally finishes videos.
Sorry. Thank you for being patient with us and bearing with us. Since we've been to South America, you probably know it's just been crazy. We've been to all of these places without wi fi and it's been great. And we have not stopped filming. I have tons of videos to prove it and we promise you'll see it all soon.

So since the very beginning, over a year ago, when my sister drew our logo on a sheet of paper, for the very first time, I had this grand vision for animating the logo. But it's been over a year now and I haven't been able to bring that vision to life. So when skillshare offered us the opportunity to use their platform, the first thing I did was jump on and jump into a program called After Effects, which is an animation program. And in the course of an afternoon I was able to bring my year long vision to life. So here's our new animated logo.
So from now on, you're going to be seeing our new animated logo at the beginning of all of our videos. One of my favorite things to do is learn new things. I'm a nerd like that, so I have a good feeling that I'm gonna be using skillshare a lot more in these coming months.
