We spent two weeks on a liveaboard ship in Antarctica, the coldest and most difficult continent to reach. First we boarded our new home in Ushuaia, the southernmost town in South America, and we won't see or touch land again for 48 hours. Then we had to cross the unpredictable Drake Passage, which is the dramatic meeting point of the Atlantic, Pacific and Southern oceans. We were some of the lucky few to make it through without puking our facts. But trust me, the rough voyage was so worth it. For the most magical week of our lives. We got to be surrounded by entire humpback families, we hung out with countless penguins, and we even watched the leopard seal hunting for breakfast.
