This is a first-person vlog-style YouTube video ("Day 1 | Kenya Medical Clinic") documenting Nate and Kara Buchanan’s first day running a short-term medical clinic at a Kenyan school. The video shows travel to the site, clinic and pharmacy setup, Kara leading activities with roughly 750 children while Nate works in the pharmacy, an explanation of the clinic patient flow (check-in, triage, physician diagnosis, prescription, brief faith-based message, then pharmacy), and a close noting the team saw just over 400 patients that day and departed before an oncoming storm.

Get up some momentum and don't stop.
Here goes nothing.
Nice.
At this point, we're just hoping we make it to the clinic. The van in front of us is struggling.
We just drove about two hours to our first clinic and we're pulling into the school with all these kids.
Sat to the school. Karen's gonna be hanging out with all 750 of the kids that you saw chasing the vans in. I'm gonna be in the clinic today, so we'll be separated. I'm gonna take the camera with me to the pharmacy. Might not be very exciting, but then we'll let Kara take it another day or later today. We'll see.
Hi. Hello. Than.
We just got the clinic and the pharmacy set up and people are already starting to line up.
Have fun, kara. See you later. Goodbye.
Sam.
Been working in the pharmacy for a few hours now. Gonna run outside and see what's going on.
You don't look like you're making him very happy.
He was very sad.
Yeah. You happier now that Kara's holding you?
I think she's sick.
Are you having a good day? Yeah.
We've had so much fun. We told stories and we sang and we colored.
All right.
And now we're playing. And then I danced for everyone.
There's lots of playing going on.
Are you gonna take him to the clinic?
Well, they said they don't know his name or anything and that I need to find out that stuff.
Good luck. Thanks.
I'm gonna show you the whole clinic that we set up today and that we're gonna be doing for the next two weeks. So this is where they get checked in. They get a card with their name and their temperature, and I think that's all.
Hello. Hello.
So then they take their card and they sit in this line. And then they go into triage here at triage, they take their card and they circle the top three ish things that they have symptoms of. And then they take their blood pressure and ask them any other things that are going on. And then these people send them into the clinic where the doctors are. So in here, the doctor looks at the patient, diagnoses them, and then writes them a prescription for whatever problem they're having. So after they get the prescription written, while they're waiting on their medicine, they come sit with Pastor Tony and he tells them about Jesus and tells them that there's going to be a church here if they want to come back. Then they come here and get their medicine and head home. Meanwhile, I've been.
Doing this, playing with 750 kids.
It's pretty sweet.
I'm in the pharmacy and you're with the kids.
We are closing down the clinic for the day. We saw just over 400 patients.
Back down the muddy roads. We're hoping to make it down the road before that storm hits us.
I love it.
You have the mini setup. Nice.
I'm looking forward to seeing that one.
You're good. Yes. I can see myself.
All right. Got mud on the wind somehow.
This is where the bug just landed on the screen. Do you see it?
