DELICIOUS Vietnamese Coffee | Egg Coffee | Coconut Coffee

YouTube travel video (Nate & Kara Buchanan) documenting a day in Hanoi: they visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (brief, regulated viewing), hunt for and taste Vietnamese specialties—egg coffee and coconut coffee—eat at a favored local sandwich shop, meet a stamp carver who makes a custom logo stamp, and sample street kebabs and fried snacks. The clip mixes on-the-ground observations (times, prices, informal addresses) with personal reactions and recommendations.

You adapted to the Asian breakfast way better than I did. I'm gonna miss this bed. This shower. I'm not gonna miss you. I'm stuck with you and this view. This desk.
You've been good to us. Hilton Garden inn. It is 10:05. Somehow we are pushing it again on going to see Ho Chi Minh's body Inn.
We are checking out, sadly.
We'll stay if you'll let us. Nate.
Yes. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
How did we let this happen? We were enjoying our last morning of free delicious breakfast at the Hilton. Now we're completely out of Hilton points.
I would say that we've arrived in plenty of time. But I think they kind of do what they want here as far as letting people in. It's looking like a line. Thank you.
Thank you.
Quickly.
Squeeze.
Save my spot.
We're here.
I'm pretty sure our camera's gonna get taken away in five, four.
Nailed it.
I am so confused. Ho Chi Minh's body was laying on a table out in the open.
And he wasn't decay.
It looks like he just died.
When we got around to the front of it, I think I saw it, like wave a little bit. I think it might have been a projection.
How do you preserve a body? How long has he been there?
Or wax? I don't know. We should have done some more research on this. All of this is a completely uneducated opinion. But that was crazy. It was just a dead guy laying out in the open.
There's like six guards in there in this tiny room. You couldn't stop. We had to walk while we looked at him and then exit. And there was no stop. If you slowed down. He shoved you like this.
Kara thinks it's because he's not real. And they don't want you to realize that. And I got in trouble for having my hands in my pocket.
They're serious.
They are serious.
That was nuts. And we were the last one. They closed the gate behind us.
That was awesome. We almost missed it. Yes. Bye. I mean, like, we literally made it by like 10 seconds. Even though that was like a 15 second experience. Very memorable. Totally worth your time.
This is free. Just get here before what time we get here?
Yeah, I would. I think we walked in at like 10:40.
We were the last ones.
Yeah. Shoot for like 10:00 clock now. What?
How many coffee shops have we been into? Asking if they have egg coffee?
Too many. I don't think it exists.
I'm pretty sure it's not a local thing here. Probably something just for tourists.
Can we find it the first thing on the menu?
All right.
It's here.
Yes. A lot of hard work went into finding this stuff.
We've been trying to find this for days. Here it is. Feels very light. Like, lighter than real coffee.
It's, like, fake. It's not even moving. Oh, my gosh.
Literally, it barely wiggles.
Nice mustache.
It's cold.
Cold. Cold.
Ish. But it's delicious. It kind of tastes like tiramisu.
It's, like, messy. So fluffy. Okay, I know what it is. It's very flavorful.
Foam.
It's like a cup of foam, like, at the top of a cappuccino. That's what it tastes like.
How do they do it?
They whip an egg.
Yeah, they take an egg, and they.
Whip it and they add it to coffee.
Oh, this is getting warmer.
It's a raw egg.
I think it's getting warmer.
A raw egg whipped with foam.
Then.
This.
Wow.
That didn't take long.
So good.
You want to get some more?
Somebody left us a comment on YouTube that said.
Coconut coffee. And while we're here, why not?
Hi, can I get.
Can we get one of these? Coconut coffee, no hot ice. That's okay.
She said coconut coffee, no hot ice. So I think we got an iced coconut coffee. Thank you to the guy who told us to get this. I'm so excited. I'm gonna try it.
Look how pretty it is. Look at it. It's down there too.
It's like a mixture of ice cream and coffee. What?
We try to drink black coffee in the morning, but any chance we get to have sweet coffee?
Yes.
Yay.
We should get another one of these. That's where we got the delicious egg coffee and the delicious coconut coffee.
I think that's.
94 ninguyen huhan.
For some reason, we're both feeling a little bit like this.
We need some food in our stomach, so we're going to our favorite sandwich shop. Coffee was, like.
3Ish dollars, and sandwiches are $1, and it's our last day here, and we've got to get our favorite sandwiches. We'll try something new tonight.
Many probably get more pho.
I'm sad.
This is gonna be our last.
Here's the MAS mastermind behind the best sandwich in Hanoi.
We just got to talk to the owner of that sandwich shop for the rest of our lunch, and he was so interesting.
It was the best sandwich shop in Hanoi because the sandwiches were the best. But after, like, hearing his story and his passion for his country.
Even.
It's even Better like number one, if you are in Hanoi, you have to go there. He was getting emotional about just how grateful he was that we. We decided to come to his country and that we're enjoying it here and that we eat his sandwiches every day.
And he was trying to explain to us that he keeps his prices low and he gives free tea and bananas because he wants tourists to like his country. And he thinks that the people here that try to charge tourists too much money are the reason that more people don't come. Yeah.
And we learned that the place by the road where we've been eating, his house, like, that's his home where four generations of his family live and have lived for the last hundred years.
Crazy.
This is awesome. This man is making these stamps and he's making us fun.
Whoa. As some of you probably noticed, we recently got a new logo and we were just past that stamp place and that guy was hand carving stamps. So we just asked how much it would be or if he could even like do our logo for like.
$2.25. He's gonna make us a custom stamp of our logo.
He was so cute.
Postcard game stepped up once again. I literally just booked our hotel for tonight and now to call an Uber. Thank you very much. Yes, thank you. Bye.
This is our room for the night. It's not quite the Hilton, but it'll do. There's space.
The location is much better. We're like 10 minutes away. Hopefully less. 10 minutes for sure. When we get lost from our stamp and we need to go pick that up.
Oh, he's working on it. Oh, perfect. Yay. Ah, it's coming along nicely. Yeah, no problem.
Got our very own stamp in this little bed.
We're back.
Poor meat.
I think this is the sign you.
Have to come to this place. Look at that deliciousness. We were done filming for the night, but I felt like it would be a disservice to everyone else if we didn't tell you about these things.
I don't know how to tell you to get here.
I don't even know what they are. After you get the.
Fried barley things that are super good, come across the street for a huge giant. Thank you. I'll go Two giant kebabs for two of the fried meatball things and one of these, you'll pay less than $2 and it'll be like the most delicious dinner you've ever had. I'm also making a lot of assumptions that this is delicious based off of how.
To cook.
Woohoo.
This is the kebab place. To be 100% honest, I'm not positive if there's an address on here or not. But if there is, it can also help you find the fried balls because it's right across the street.
Can you blame us?
Hey, don't.
Cool.
So nice of you to come back and get me.
That's what happens when you press the button. The elevator goes to it.
It's so bright. And we left our sunglasses and our suitcases at the hotel.
I seriously can't open my eyes.
I think I'm about to watch Circus Away.
We need a 360 camera so people can.
Stop. Stop your quit.
This guy thinks it's really funny.
All of those people are watching Kara make a fool of herself.
You were so embarrassing. You wouldn't take them off.
I was on a roller coaster at six hours. And then I was in a church.
