This is a special announcement and not a vlog. We're going to try to keep it short and sweet because we need to make sure that we get it uploaded today. If you've been watching our vlogs, you've probably heard us mention that we're climbing to Everest base camp soon. We got to Nepal yesterday and we're spending all day today preparing to leave for our trek tomorrow. The trek is supposed to last a total of 18 days. And unfortunately we've heard that the WI fi, it's not too strong, which makes sense when you're in the middle of the Himalayan. So we probably won't be able to upload a vlog for the next few weeks. But if everything goes as planned, health and electronic wise, Kara's going to continue to make the daily vlogs while we're on the trek, and then when we get back, we're going to upload them in bulk. That is assuming that, like, this gear that we bought actually works. We bought a solar panel charger. I plan on like, hooking this to my backpack and trying to charge to the camera batteries. This USB thing will go to this somehow. And then we bought this USB charger. I have faith in this. This seems I've used one of these before. So many fun toys. So if our new toys work, we should be editing daily vlogs every day and then uploading them in bulk when we get back, which should be around like May 20th to the 22nd. We booked this trip with a company called Itrek Nepal, and we're gonna copy and paste the full itinerary that they sent us onto our website, karandnate.com. we'll link it below. Also our Facebook page. We think we'll be able to update it every once in a while, so be sure to check it out. We are super excited about this trek and we can't wait to share it with you. But we're going to be gone for 18 days, so please don't forget about us while we're gone. We'll be back soon. See you in a few weeks. And if you hear from us a lot sooner than that, that's probably not a good thing.
We sent some clothes to get washed down at the hotel, mostly underwear for our trek to Everest tomorrow. And we look out our window and there's our underwear just laying in the grass. You ever wonder what kind of underwear Karen I wear? There you go.
