The 100k giveaway is finally here. Thank you for your patience. It took a little bit longer to put together than we thought it was going to. But I think you'll agree it's going to be worth the wait.

Three. Top three coolest days of my life.
Everest Base Camp. In the snow for sure. Amazing.

Day 11.
Day 12 of the trek.
We think it's currently 4:55 in the morning. That's Everest. Carrie's being a trooper. Hardest thing I've ever done. Made it to the top. So proud of you. Base Camp. And that's Mount Everest. Good job. Had some sleet hitting us in the face. How long did we walk up the mountain? Forever.
A ten hour day.
Split them. Kara Ha.
Made it.
Hiking over one of the world largest glaciers. There's a mini avalanche happening right there. We're almost there.
We're getting closer.
Went out of our layers. Currently descending into Everest Base Camp. Put all of our clothes back on.
We are officially at Base Camp.

So every big milestone we tried to do a giveaway. And so when 100k started getting closer and closer, we knew we had to do a good one. And we had a few ideas. But deep down we knew what we wanted this one to be.
So during our first year of travel, we went on probably the greatest adventure of our entire lives when we did a 15 day trek to Everest Base Camp. Still to this day, it's one of the best things that I've ever done. It's also, it's one of the hardest things I've ever done. But it's been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. And when people ask us what like our favorite place or our favorite destination has been, Everest Basecamp is what I tell everybody. So for our 100k giveaway, we are giving away our a free trip for one person and a friend to do the Everest Base Camp trek.
It's going to be our best giveaway ever. One lucky person and their friend are going to get to trek for 15 days in Nepal to the tallest mountain in the world.
The base camp of the tallest mountain. You're not actually going to the top. We are already so excited for the winners of this giveaway because we personally have so many fond memories from this trek. Like walking side by side on a trail with yaks.

Being surrounded by the Most beautiful snowy mountains that you've ever seen. Eating Dalbat for every meal, crossing over terrifying but beautiful swinging bridges, drinking hot tea at night in the tea houses, and learning to love the smell of yak poo because that's what fuels the fire and keeps you warm at night. And last but definitely not least, feeling a sense of accomplishment like you have never felt before. When you finally make it to Everest base camp, we did.
It was the best. When we booked this trip back in May 2016, we booked with Itrek Nepal because a friend of a friend had gone with them and had a good experience. So we just booked it. We had no idea how great it was gonna be. We actually got to meet Rick, who is the owner of the company, and we're still friends with him today.
So when we had this idea that this is what we wanted to do for 100k giveaway, we reached out to Rick, and obviously, because we're shooting this video right now, he said yes. So before we move any further, we want to say a big thank you to Rick and Itrek Nepal for making this giveaway possible.
