Flying from Finland to DENMARK! (pooped)

A travel vlog transcript of Nate and Kara Buchanan leaving Lapland and flying to Copenhagen. They recap intense Lapland experiences (drifting Teslas on an ice track, ice hotel, reindeer feeding, icebreaker, sauna, dog sleds, sleeping in unique accommodations), document flight disruptions (oversold flight, delays due to strong winds, short 30-minute layover in Helsinki), and arrival in Copenhagen where they note this is country #91 toward a goal of 100 countries. The vlog emphasizes travel fatigue, simple pleasures (grocery shopping, cereal), and practical transit details (metro zones, transport costs).

Ladies and gentlemen, Captain Yam.
Today we are leaving Lapland after one of the most incredible weeks of our entire lives.
One week ago, we landed in Kimi, Finland, where we drifted Teslas on the world's only ice track located on a frozen sea.
We fed reindeer their favorite foods.
Ate dinner in an ice hotel.
Blazed a path through a frozen sea on an icebreaker.
Floated in arctic waters in safety suits that made us look like Teletubbies.
Slept in the coziest treehouse you've ever seen.
Drove snowmobiles through the frozen forest.
Slept in a cabin made completely of ice.
Steered a dog sled pulled by six beautiful Alaskan huskies.
Partook in the traditional Finnish sauna experience. Wow.
Okay. I hate this.
Oh, scratches. Leave the slippers behind.
Leave the slippers. And slept in a wooden teepee with a glass roof.
What a week.
I'm sure there is a lot more to do in finish, laugh, plan. But I feel like we've really made the most of our time here. But now it is time to head to the airport because today we're flying to Denmark.
Hello, to the airport.
In case anybody was wondering which airport Santa's sleigh leaves from. Unfortunately the flight to Helsinki is oversold today.
There's no lounge in this airport, but they have a very nice sitting area. And nobody's here.
Pretty much just us.
And now we have an hour and a half to Helsinki. Have a good flight.
I forgot to check us in online. We're both stuck in the middle.
We are the ones ready. But we have some major today which means that we may have to wait here for maybe 15 minutes after the original departure due to Helsinki traffic at this point. I hope you enjoy your stay.
Thank you.
Ladies and gentlemen.
One hour delay.
I am literally watching the snow mount. Been sitting here for over an hour.
These jets are pretty cool.
Ladies and gentlemen.
Start out this unfortunately right now.
20 minutes. Unfortunately, we will be roughly 30 minutes behind schedule upon landing at 4pm local time.
Our crew and Bumble hope that you have enjoyed it in spite of our late arrival.
Thank you.
Goodbye. We look forward to seeing you soon on port in ar.
Apparently the winds were so strong in Helsinki that it caused a one hour delay. And I think everyone else's plane must have been delayed as well because people were just sprinting through the airport. But all that matters is we have a 30 minute layover, which means that we have time to eat lunch.
That was my Schneider.
If nothing else, this video should be a lesson in why you should always check in for your flight. The one Time I don't check in for a flight. I've ended up in the middle seat both times.
Normally we have an entire road to ourselves.
No one's perfect. We've been busy.
Your safety belt must be fastened to in takeoff, landing, and at all times during the flight when the safety and sign is on, we recommend that you keep your safety but fastened throughout the flight as unexpected turbulence may occur at any time. For your own safety, we kindly ask you to avoid spending excess time in the aisles and exit areas during the flights. Landing in 10 minutes.
Our crew, Finner and One World hope that you have enjoyed this flight. Thank you. Goodbye and we look forward to seeing you on board again.
Thank you. Goodbye.
One and 12 hours later, we are in Copenhagen.
They opened both doors front and back of the plane, so it was a huge mess.
Everybody was going different ways. I don't know why they do that.
Doesn't feel any warmer here. So windy.
Hello.
How are you?
Hi. Hi.
Thank you. Wow. I love it here. Okay, so that's where we're going.
I see it on here.
Christians heaven. So 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 stops away. So we need a three zone ticket.
Thank you. We are on the metro on our way into the city, and it's just hit me that this is country number 91. Since 2016, we made it our goal to go to 100 countries and now we're counting down the last 10.
It feels so weird.
The weirdest part is we have no clue what's going to happen after we hit 100. It's like we've had this, like, life goal and kind of like mission that we've been driving towards for the past three years.
We don't even know what the next eight are going to be.
We don't even know what we're doing tomorrow. I literally booked our accommodations this morning because we woke up and I realized that we didn't have anywhere to stay.
Tonight and we forgot to check in. Barb, life, we're just. Our brains are mushed right now.
It's been like a huge last two weeks.
We haven't slept much. It's been so fun.
Like, we haven't done this in forever.
Every city should have a metro that takes you from the airport to the city center. We paid €30 to get from our hotel to the airport in finland. We paid $5 to get on the metro and make it to our Airbnb here in Copenhage.
The fact that these away bags are not falling apart.
Is a miracle.
Overstuffed drug for Miles across cobblestones. Wish they paid us to say these things, but they don't. I think this is it. This yellowing cara.
Alright, this is home for the next few nights.
Feels good to be here, but this.
Video has been a little short and uneventful. We had all intentions of like trying to go out and do something tonight, but if we're being completely honest, we're pooped. It has been a huge last two weeks and it's almost 9 o'. Clock. We're going to the grocery store, grab something to eat, do some boring stuff.
Super boring.
And go to sleep for a long time.
This is the first day that we were just like.
All we've done is eat at restaurants for every meal for the last two weeks.
Or at like our hotel that we're staying at because that was the only option that we had.
Or like extreme activities. And we're so excited to like go to the store and buy cereal.
Just want normal, normal food from the grocery store and I want cereal when I wake up in the morning.
Okay. Yay.
On the world's only frozen ice track on a frozen sea.
Sorry.
After my feet.
That's so crazy.
This is a wild cara in her natural habitat, slightly confused, shopping for headphones that she doesn't need.
She's now been putting on chapstick for at least 30 seconds.
What will she do next? Oh, she doesn't get much time to herself.
I can't believe you were watching. I was just observing how expensive those headphones were. I don't want new ones.
I love mine.
Stop.
They opened.
Wow, this camera looks good at night, Sam.
