Nate and Kara spend their last day in Cape Town hitting coffee shops and a cheap Indian spot before heading to Stellenbosch tomorrow and then Zambia. They skip Kirstenbosch because of rain and pitch a new segment called Bedtime Talk for future videos.

So we just finished our coffee and now we're going to a coffee shop.
Because.
The cleaning people are at our apartment right now. So we have to get more. Oh, darn.
We really just had to get out of the apartment and go somewhere. It's raining pretty hard out this morning, so we don't have any other plans. We're going to a coffee shop to get some work done.
It's gonna be a cool coffee shop, though.
I was supposed to go paragliding again today, but the weather looks like this. I don't think I was supposed to go paragliding while I was in Cape Town. I try not to get too upset about these kinds of things because I just take it as maybe I was gonna die when I went paragliding.
So it's a sign.
World's coolest coffee shop.
It's a casket chair coffee dealership. That's what this should be called.
This is like the world's coolest coffee shop.
Look at all these cars.
Thank you very much.
Can I get you Cool.
Thank you.
It depends. Can I sit on the car in a car while I drink my coffee? Okay. Yes. You. Are you serious? I was totally kidding. Yes.
The deal. You buy coffee and I'll give you.
Any car you want. Take my cafe milk inside of Ferrari, please.
Cape Town has some super.
Cape Town has some super cool coffee shops. We've already been in three awesome ones. Truth. Which is just like crazy unique. Camille. Which micro roast their own coffee right in front of you. And now the place that's like a combination of a vintage car dealership and a coffee shop. Love Cape Town.
It stopped raining. So now that it's sunny outside, we are gonna go check out the Kirstenbosch Garden. Somebody asked us if we'd ever been there and we told them no. They were shocked and said that we had to go. So we're gonna check them out.
But first we're going to grab lunch.
We're back at one of our favorite restaurants that we discovered last time we were in Cape Town where you can get a ton of good Indian food for really cheap. This time we massive piece of naan stuffed with falafel and salad. It's called a shawarma and it's huge.
And amazing. And French fries with really yummy sizzling on a Coke for like $4.
Food in Nate's trying a new Fanta. The green one. This might be a normal thing in America, but we haven't seen.
It.
Kind of tastes like that soft drink that's the blue and I don't remember what it's called. It's only a Taco Bell that Mountain Dew makes. That's what it reminds me of. I also got some baklava, which is like deliciously little flaky pieces of bread with honey and nuts inside.
Right up Nate's alley.
That was delicious. The powder that they put on the French fries tastes just like the ramen noodle seasoning. I'm convinced that's what it was.
Sun went back in. It is freezing cold and windy.
We're calling off the Gardens. It would not be fun to go walk around in this. It is winter in Cape Town. It hasn't treated us like it. We've been really lucky with good sunny weather most days. Walking around the gardens in this weather does not sound fun at all. Especially not to this girl. Just look at that face.
Well, that's going to be a wrap for Cape Town. Since we're not going to the Gardens, we don't have any other plans for the afternoon. I guess we're just going to stay in here and enjoy one last afternoon in our super nice Airbnb apartment.
And tomorrow we are checking out to drive to Stellenbosch for the day.
Should be fun.
First, sorry that today's vlog was so short. Since it was so short, we wanted to take some time to introduce a new part of the vlog that we're thinking about starting to add in to each and every vlog. Call it Bedtime Talk. No, we have not established a name for it. I definitely don't like that. But the idea would be just to have this, like, informal time at the end of every vlog. Maybe we're in bed. Maybe it's just closer towards the end of the day, but just a time where, like, we could share messages or thoughts with you in, like, a much more informal way, and then also give you an idea of, like, what's coming up the next day or the next few days or the next few weeks.
We basically just been frustrated that, like, we feel like we have to put together this nicely edited vlog every day. And then there's, like, stuff that we want to share that doesn't fit into those edits. And so this is the time that we can share those thoughts.
Any thoughts, Kara? No.
So tomorrow we are leaving this Airbnb, which we're really sad about, because this is one of the greatest places that we've stayed the entire trip, and we are driving out to Stellenbosch for one night. We're gonna rent some bikes and bike around the winelands of Stellenbosch, which should be a lot of fun. And then the next morning we get up, go to the airport and leave for Zambia. No. Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
That's the plan.
I was thinking I said it wrong, but you should.
I do all the travel planning in the relationship. In case anybody was wondering.
I just do the vlogs. So this is what we both look like after staring at our computers for way too long.
Now the problem comes with how do we end this segment?
Good night.
This is gonna make the vlogs way longer.
Alright, try it.
That didn't go well. Trying it out. Let us know how you like it.
Comment below. Maybe we'll start doing it. Maybe. Vlogging right before we go to sleep is a terrible ide.
I'm pretty sure that's not legal.
It's raining really hard. There's a truck.
The Nike Swoosh truck is starting up. Is that soft?
What's the soft smile?
That's good. That was good.
What's my best soft smile?
Whoa. Come on.
Sorry.
There was a fly in our apartment and Nate just reached out and grabbed it with his hand.
We'll see. We think it's in here.
Dang it.
What a bummer. Now I gotta catch one.
