Leaving Malaysia!

Just got on the plane and realized that we haven't even told you where we're going. We're going.

All right. Let's go. Gotta play in the catch.

Just checked out of our hotel and now we are going to catch a local bus to the airport. One last ride on the starship.

Fast. Hopefully one of these is going to the airport. Where is this bus going?

Five minutes. Five minutes. Where to? Airport. Where do we buy the ticket? Thank you. I'm gonna say we're not making that bus. Missed that one by like 30 seconds. That's okay. It makes me happy. The lady in the red hat scarf thing jumped in front of me very blatantly in line to try to catch the bus and she missed it too. So I'm okay that we missed it.

And we're 20 minutes later than we would have been. But not too bad. We got to wait on the air conditioned bus which I had to rig with a Ziploc bag because otherwise it doesn't stay open. I feel guilty about how happy I was that the lady with the red thing missed the bus because she jumped in front of us. I was in the heat of the moment though.

I don't feel that guilty.

I improved on my rigging of the bus. Ventilation.

Now we have two minutes. Going.

This seems like a good way to go.

Today we are flying AirAsia, Asia's budget airline. The flight experience probably won't be too exciting. Immigration and security was painless. Probably the fastest we've made it through on this entire trip.

And now we're going to the lounge and we're not even running. False alarm. Apparently we weren't through security yet. As you go through two security.

He is causing problems for us.

Not quite the same food selection that we're used to in our first class lounges. But I'll be the first to admit that we've gotten spoiled.

We're going to Cambodia.

We are flying two hours to Siem Reeval to go to Angkor, which is like the most iconic temple complex in all of Southeast Asia.

We're gonna be looking at temples for days.

Kara had to pick up both of our bags for us because threw away my boarding pass, which caused a little bit of trouble at customs and immigration. And now we are crossing our fingers that our hotel has sent somebody to pick us up. We made these. Made this arrangement very last minute. Like as I was sitting on the plane.

So romantic. Our hotel arranged local transportation for us.

This is the one place on our trip that we probably should have taken malaria medicine and then chose not to.

So we're gonna stay in. We're gonna eat at this restaurant that's at our hotel and do some research on what we're gonna do tomorrow so we can get an early start.
