This YouTube travel vlog ("Lisbon to Barcelona | TAP Portugal") follows Nate Buchanan and Kara as they leave Lisbon, return a rental car successfully, encounter a dead phone containing loyalty/priority pass information (resolved via iCloud), relax in an airport lounge (Kara's first lounge), sleep on the flight, arrive in Barcelona, take airport transit to the city, check into a centrally located hostel on a busy walking street, and search out a recommended hole-in-the-wall Mexican street-taco place. The vlog highlights small travel hassles (phone, bus choices) and simple pleasures (lounge, hostel location, Mexican food).

We're on our way to the airport. We are parting ways with Kayla and Barrett. So sad. We're really sad. We're headed back to Texas and we are going to Barcelona. Wish we could go with you. Me too. It's not going to be the same without our Spanish speaking to our guide.
Y' all didn't even mean that much. You have enough words in your vocabulary.
That's it.
We're turning in the car.
We didn't wreck it. Always a success.
No scratches are anything.
Wow.
I always feel super relieved when we get a rental car returned and don't owe any extra fees. And we didn't forget that it was diesel and put gas in it. So all in all, a successful trip.
We're in the airport. We just thought of a major problem. All of Nate's info of his starlight status and our priority pass is on his phone, which is still in a coma.
It hasn't turned back on. I'm pretty sure it's gone forever.
So hopefully we can look up that information on my phone. Otherwise we don't get to go on the star alliance lounge or get to check in quickly.
What is it doing? Found priority pass thanks to icloud, which I still hate but happy at this very moment with it. And we found my Turkish airways number, so hopefully we'll have status when we check in.
I'm so glad they're leaving us but so happy they got to pass.
She's back.
I came back just to go to the lounge. It's my first lounge experience ever. Yay.
Not a bad one for your first. It's a little crowded.
Yeah.
Leaving for real this time.
After five hours.
Five hours. Good lounge today.
I got quite a bit done. Did you finish the bond.
Sa?
And the way you take me over there.
I'm your slave Please take me anywhere Take me anywhere.
I love the way you please me.
The way you please me.
All the way you please me.
The way you please.
All the way.
I think I slept the entire flight.
Kaylin Barrett must have worn us out.
I don't remember take off.
I think I filmed it, but that's about all I remember.
Put on my neck pillow before we took off. I don't remember taking off. And then I woke up. We were landing and my ears were popping.
I believe there is a local bus or metro or something that takes us to the center of town. This is the first place that we've landed in two countries where I've booked somewhere to stay. So it takes a little bit of stress off of Landing in a new country. So now we just gotta find the metro and get to our place.
So easy. And they speak Spanish here, which we speak. Like, maybe we know, like, 2% of Spanish words, but that is much more than we normally know in other countries. So.
In the U.S. i probably took, like, six Spanish classes, which means I know, like, 10 Spanish words.
Current situation. Nate is trying to figure out the bus system here.
I guess we're gonna pay for the airport bus because I'm too dumb to figure out the evening bus that way. It does not help.
Okay.
According to Google Maps, this is the best way to get to our hotel.
Already.
Kind of.
We're in Barcelona.
Appears to me that we just need to keep walking down the street. Yep.
Sweet.
There's a P with two stars.
Says something about lasagna.
Thank you. If I can help you with anything else. Okay.
Thank you.
You too. Oh, I have a sink. I know.
It's so nice.
I love it. It's been worse.
Yeah.
The door. Open the door, and we're in the middle of the city. Best hostel ever. So many people, so many stores. This is a massive walking street with a sea of humans.
It's exciting. We just got checked into our hostel. We read a vlog about someplace 30 minutes away having really good Mexican food.
We're making a walk. Mexican food is, like, the one thing that we miss most from home every day.
I think about it every day.
And this Mexican food is supposed to be street tacos, which is one of our favorites.
We just walk it off.
What is this thing? It looks like a scary movie.
You're coming back here tomorrow in the daytime.
Not positive. It's a same place, but I'm pretty sure on the travel Channel, at some point, I saw something about a church that's being. Has been Being. Has been in the process of being built for a very long time and still not finished. And I think that might be it. We will confirm with Internet tonight. And I think we're almost to the Mexican restaurant. I hope this looks like it. This feels like the right road for a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. What do you think?
Yes.
There's a popular hole in the wall Mexican restaurant.
Apparently you're supposed to make a reservation.
He said 30 minutes, though. I will wait 30 minutes for good Mexican food. Kara would wait, like, three hours.
Days.
I'm really excited about this. Good.
All right, go.
Breathing fire.
It was like the hottest Mexican food I've ever had. He warned me my plate would be hot, and it was hot.
I feel like we're gonna get some comments about eating Mexican food in Barcelona. Please don't be mean. Sometimes we just have to satisfy our cravings. So our one day in Sevilla one and a half days was so much fun. And from what we've seen in Barcelona, this city is super awesome too. And I think that means that we love Spain.
We'll see. I have a whole week to explore it.
Open.
All the way.
Hold it. Wait.
I don't know what's happening. Open all the way.
It's been a good run. Had you ever since been Chiang Mai awesome in February. Bye bye.
Travel life. You can't be attached to things, Barrett. You have to learn to throw things away.
Show you how to use the life jacket. There is a life jacket inside.
Not exactly what I expected to see in Spain.
I just needed a fake polar bear cub. I wonder if anyone has ever gotten a photo with the taco man.
For $76.
