Nate and Kara spend a day in Lisbon with friends Kayla and Barrett, hitting a breakfast spot, touring their Airbnb, and sitting down for a long local lunch with multiple courses. They also check out a flea market and weigh taking an Uber against the subway.
We are up much earlier than yesterday, which isn't saying too much. We're heading back to the same breakfast spot. I'm getting another pastel. De nada. Which I've been looking forward to since yesterday morning. I'm looking forward to it every morning.
And then we're going to meet Kayla and Barrett. They're almost here.

It's not often that I make the decision to spend more money to go somewhere. Normally, I'd rather tough it out and save a little more money. So it's gonna be like €3 to ride the subway and then lug our bags 20 minutes across town. Or for an additional €3, we can just take an Uber the whole way.
Good decision. Seems like the right one.
I think we might have put our pickup location in the wrong place for Uber newbies.
I don't use Uber often. I set up our Uber location two blocks away on accident. So I just sprinted back up the hill to find him patiently waiting on us. Such a great driver.
So much for our relaxing Uber ride.

I don't know. Yeah, I think we're just gonna stand here and wait for Kayla and Barrett. Kayla and Barrett are the ones who arranged the Airbnb. They're not here yet. So we're standing at a building that we think might be our Airbnb.

Another bedroom with its own bathroom and huge windows for ventilation so it's not sweltering hot like it was at our other place. We're on the hunt for Kaylin Barrett.
