Casual travel vlog by Nate and Kara Buchanan documenting day two of sightseeing in London. The couple visit/observe Tower Bridge (and nearby London Bridge), walk through a park to Buckingham Palace, eat fish and chips in a pub, spend time at the Natural History Museum, and attend an evening service at Westminster Abbey — with frequent commentary about cold, rain, and local experiences (roasted peanuts, bus, mushy peas, museum exhibits, church service).

Paying an arm and a leg to travel around London with these things.
Today is day two of sightseeing in London. Have a few big things on the agenda for today. Buckingham palace, the Tower Bridge which is like the big iconic bridge in London. And then we're planning on attending the evening service at Westminster Abbey.
It's a lot warmer ish today. Hopefully we'll stay a little bit warmer than yesterday. And we're going to squeeze in some fish and chips at some point in a pub.
Should be a good day.
They've been cooking these roasted caramelized peanuts all over town. Smell is like amazing. I could have passed up one more stand without getting paid. Thank you very much.
Bye bye.
Tower Bridge is behind me. It's pretty big and impressive but they're doing construction so they won't be lifting the bridge anytime today we planned on taking this road on the river all the way to Buckingham palace, but it's really cold. Oh, it's cold.
Cold. Used to like warm 80 degree weather. Not this.
I don't know how much longer I'm gonna make it. We need to stop in the next warm place we see.
Can't feel my nose. My fingers.
That is the London Bridge. From what I can tell.
The ugliest bridge in all of London.
Is that really it?
I think so. How do you know it says it. Where? Look underneath.
Wow. Isn't there some nursery rhyme about a London bridge?
London Bridge is something. Ah.
I wonder if there's historical significance behind the nursery rhyme.
Bet we could find out. London Bridge is a traditional English nursery rhyme and singing game which is found in different versions all over the world. It deals with the depredations of London Bridge and attempts, realistic or fanciful, to repair it.
Repair it because it's ugly Maybe.
Alright, it's freezing. Let's keep moving.
It's another hour to walk to the Buckingham palace and it's supposed to start raining in about an hour. So we're going to take the train.
And it's freezing.
We're walking through the park to get to the palace.
We made it to Buckingham Palace. I wonder if the Queen liked the.
I think the Buckingham palace is one of those places that you go for like two seconds and you're like all right, I saw it. Time to leave.
We saw it and now we're leaving.
It's starting to rain so we're gonna go get some fish and chips at a pub. That seems like a very Londony thing to do.
That bus was very Londony.
Finally snacked a table. We weren't sure how this works. When we first walked in, there were three open tables. And by the time we figured out that we seat ourselves, they were all taken.
This feels so good on my frozen hands. I know people don't go to pubes to get coffee, but I thought I would go with the traditional tea time.
But then instead of tea, I thought I would get coffee.
So basically it's not British at all.
Having Paris coffee time.
A traditional London experience.
Our fish and chips came with peas. They're not mushy peas though. They were supposed to be mushy.
I think you have to request a mushy if you read the menu.
No, I did not read the menu.
Well.
It's raining and we still have two hours until the service at the church starts, so we think we might go to the Natural History Museum. Hopefully the subway is not far because it's so cold and so wet.
Bear doesn't handle the cold well.
Here we go.
Oh, it's raining really hard.
I can't believe they have a Christmas tree.
Apparently most of the museums in London are free. It was a really weird feeling just walking into a museum in such a big city, not having to pay anything. We have like two hours until it closes, which is perfect because that's when we need to leave to go to trip to.
I think this is a real brain and a real spinal cord. I feel a little nauseous.
I can see the dinosaurs. I'm tired of learning about the body. This is a hollow face, but it looks just like it's sticking out and it's moving with you wherever you go.
See, that face isn't hollow.
Whoa.
I think that was a good two hours well spent.
Time for church.
Yeah. Time to go back in the rain.
We're a little worried they're not going to let us in wearing our Nikes.
People are getting stuck and then people are being angry and people are having.
To.
Live in these crazy times. But we are weak and weary. But we glow with glory.
Is that what you learned in church? Yes.
There was no vlogging in church, but they let us down with our Nikes. It was a great service. The organ was pretty. And now we're leaving.
There are shirtless men over here. There were Lamborghinis. The shirtless men were yelling at the Lamborghinis. There's been tons of ambulance ambulances.
What are you admiring, Cara?
How that big egg looking thing is standing?
They're not funny.
This is the least heavy I've seen Cara in a long time. Breathing wet doesn't like the cold weather. She doesn't like the rain.
But he opened with a joke about Donald Trump and mentioned America in the election about three or four times. It's very interesting. It's freezing and cold out here. Time to go home.
