A first-person YouTube travel vlog by Nate and Kara Buchanan documenting a Saturday spent visiting two Cape Town markets — the Old Biscuit Mill and a market at the V&A (B&A) Waterfront. The hosts sample many street foods (pancakes, sushi-style sandwiches, chicken, milkshakes), comment on local sights (mountains and ocean), and reflect on enjoying the city and their Airbnb.

Didn't ask. I long for calling Skinned out red and gold. You lick your liquid lips. Go back.
Find out all love.
So there are two markets in Cape Town that only happen on Saturday. And since it is a beautiful Saturday here in Cape Town, we're gonna try to hit them both.
And we're starting with the old biscuit mill. We have no idea where or what that is. I'm just happy it's not raining.
We're just gonna put it in the gypsy.
Here we go.
We really love our Airbnb. But our least favorite part is this horrible parking garage. Just watch.
Go slow. I confess. Poor Horn. Please don't face plant us into a car.
Yes.
I think we got no sunshine.
Where do we start? Morning.
That says old biscuit mill.
How much is?
It's like a little over 20 bucks.
Feel this.
Very nice.
There's all kinds of crazy foods here.
There is so much food in this place. It is all, like super unique and awesome. It's to be so hard to decide. I have no idea what we're going to get. I want all of it. Are you.
Everything on it?
Yes, everything. Whatever that means.
From the u.s.
What do you think?
So we met a Dutch guy when we were in Kenya, and he raved about how good the pancakes were. I didn't think I'd get to try them until we visited the Netherlands. They had them here in South Africa, so thought I might as well go ahead and try them.
Wow. So good. Pancakes are my favorite food in the world.
Top it off with powdered sugar, maple syrup, and a little bit of cinnamon.
And butter. Probably the best thing I put in my mouth in the past month.
I'll have one of all of them. And which one should I get an extra one of?
I'm thinking cheese and corn. All right, one more of those. Thank you.
This one's chicken.
Thank you.
We never had a sushi sandwich before, so we thought we'd try it. This one's salmon. As usual, it's delicious. We found an Asian booth and they sell bun.
We are ending our morning at the old biscuit mill with the chocolate milkshake. But it's healthy. It's made with Greek yogurt. And we're heading over to the B and A waterfront that has another market. And we're probably going to eat more food.
So we got all the way to the car and I forgot that I wanted to get this really cute. It's like the softest leather ever. And it was only $23. Real kind. Leather works. So Nate, let me come back and get it. Animal lovers. Nice comments.
Please.
We are here.
Sweat me under not to let me go.
I think we ate a little bit too much at the old biscuit meal, so none of that food was really appetizing. Although it smelled really good.
It was basically the exact same thing as the last one.
But I think we're gonna go take a seat by the water somewhere and.
Go explore the waterfront.
Yeah.
One of the reasons I love Cape Town so much is that everywhere you go, there's either mountain.
Or ocean pretty much in the whole city.
If it wasn't on the complete other side of the world, we would highly consider moving here.
Still might.
What is it doing?
I think he has an itch.
We're back in our place and we have zero more plans.
Zero more.
Zero more plans for the rest of the day.
I just felt biscuit like that.
B I e.
No u b I n buskin u I t.
You left out an I found it.
I feel like this is one of those hairstyles that you're gonna look back on and be like, what was I thinking?
Probably.
