A travel vlog by Kara and Nate Buchanan documenting their last day in Munich and travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia. The hosts deal with a delayed Amazon delivery at their hotel, attempt (and fail) to buy a drone in-store, catch a roughly five-hour bus through scenic southern Germany and northern Austria, and arrive at a friendly Airbnb where the host greets them with grapes but the unit lacks a hair dryer.

It is our last day in Germany and it's finally not raining. So even though it's kind of cold, we're gonna go out and try to see some stuff. We have a bus to catch in about three hours to Slovenia.
So we're kind of in this weird limb right now. We ordered a package from Amazon that was supposed to be here, like, sometime within the last two days, delivered to our hotel. It's still not here yet. I think there may be a second package being mistakenly, potentially delivered or maybe not delivered. So I don't know what we're gonna do. We tried to cancel the packages. It's a big.
Apparently this clock does a little show for about 15 minutes at 12 o'.
Clock.
So we're gonna go walk around and then we're gonna come back and.
Almost time.
I think there's about 10 more minutes.
According to the Internet, those dancing people were a symbol of a wedding that was in like the 1500s. And it was like the biggest wedding ever with like 3,500 people on horses. And it lasted for two weeks. And so that's why they put it on the church.
Thank you. It's Kara's last day in Munich, so she decided to get an authentic German lunch.
I'm so hungry and it looks so yummy.
You have a slight addiction.
We're heading back to the hotel to see if the packages have arrived. I needed a quick bite for lunch and I'm having an unexpected culinary experience. In the train station, they had these pretzel sandwiches. The lady told me this was very typical Bavarian. So there is Bavarian cream cheese chives stuffed inside of a pretzel. And it looks sweet.
Yum.
Good taste.
As beautiful as it looks, it's about 2pm and we just had to check out of our big, beautiful, brand new room.
Our package still isn't here yet. So we're sitting in the lobby waiting. Our bus leaves in an hour and 45 minutes. We haven't, like, actually booked tickets on the bus. It's the only bus out of here that doesn't leave at like midnight. Otherwise, we have two options. Book another night here or leave and hope for the best.
Or go buy another one of stigma that we ordered at the store and just plan to ship this one back. It's a nice hotel, ladies, and we can do that.
It's all a mess.
We are leaving our hotel officially. We have hope that Amazon stopped our delivery in time and that the package is never showing up to our hotel. If it does, worry about it when it happens.
So we have an hour until our bus stop sleeves, and we are going to purchase one of the things that we ordered. A new blender. We're getting healthy. Just kidding. A new electric toothbrush. Just kidding. Kara has really been wanting a hair dryer. Finally, an electric razor. We're getting into racing remote control cars. A new drone.
Perfect. This will definitely increase the quality of the vlogs, but for real, this is what we're getting.
Oh, my gosh.
So that whole little montage thing where I went through the store and I grabbed all the different things was supposed to be our funny way of revealing that we were getting a drone. And then we ordered the drone, and then the guy disappeared for, like, 15 minutes. And they came back and he was like, yeah, yeah, I'm going to get your drone. And then he just never came back. And then we were going to miss our bus, and so we didn't get a drone. Today's vlog was supposed to be, like, this really exciting reveal that we were getting a drone, and now it's not.
Not today.
We just boarded the bus. We are leaving for Slovenia. I think it's about five hours.
We would tell you where we were.
Going, but we don't know how to say the name.
I think it's. I don't know, start. It's got some Js and some Bs in it.
This bus is pretty nice. We're sitting on the top level.
There's a power point and a sunroof, and there's, like, five people on this whole bus.
We didn't have time to get a drone, but we did have time to get some kebabs.
We stayed at the store so long waiting on them to find the drone. I literally thought we were going to miss this bus. Thankfully, they were leaving, like, five minutes late, and I had time to run upstairs and get a spoon. Otherwise, she would have been very angry for the next six hours.
This is one of the most beautiful bus rides I have ever been on. We've been driving through, like, southern Germany and northern Austria, and it is absolutely beautiful. And it's, like, the coolest castle ever. How cool is that castle?
So cool.
She's been sleeping. She hasn't seen any of it. She'll just get to watch it as she edits the vlog.
It's really pretty right here.
Got a Snickers and a Coke. I think we've got, like, two, two and a half more hours till we get to the L word city that we're going to.
Yay.
It's Been a good ride. Lovely.
We're in love with.
Before we got on this bus, we had no clue where we were staying tonight because we thought we might have to stay back in Munich to wait on the packages. Anyway, I arranged an Airbnb, and the guy was nice enough to come pick us up. So now we're gonna go meet him.
All right. He said he'd meet us in front of the McDonald's. It's a green car that starts with an M that I've never heard of before.
Lovely. Small, but it's everything.
Yeah. These are amazing. Our Airbnb host is the cutest thing ever. He greeted us with fresh grapes from his garden, and they are so sweet. They're like candy. And he picked us up because he was on his way home from his dance rehearsal because they have a show on Saturday in some square. It's like a salsa type dance called Zook or something like that. So we're gonna try to go watch him. He was so nice. I love nice people.
Reminds me a little bit of a haunted house when I'm walking up the stairs, but it's. It's nice.
Yeah.
The location, I think, is perfect from looking at a map and from what he told us. Yeah.
We passed the castle on the way in to work.
We got everything we need. A little bed here, table to work at here. Supposedly really fast Internet, washer and dryer. This is always big for us. Little kitchen, bathroom in there. It'll do for four days.
There's only one major, major, major problem.
No hair dryer.
That's not major. That's a luxury. I don't see a coffee pot.
I guess I'll have to go boss up. That is tragic.
I'm really into their dragons playing here in Eastern Europe.
