Santiago to Buenos Aires on... Air Canada?

This YouTube vlog (Nate and Kara Buchanan) documents travel from Santiago to Buenos Aires. Scenes include an Air Canada flight delay, lounge access (Priority Pass / Star Alliance status), pickup by a Southern Explorations representative for a Patagonia trip, hotel drop-off, and short local errands (searching for hiking boots, ATM cash shortages that limited purchases to ~3 USD worth of Chilean pesos). The vlog mixes light frustrations (shopping/ATMs) with anticipation for an upcoming Patagonia adventure.

It is about 10am the next couple minutes of this vlog are gonna look a lot like the last couple minutes of last night's vlog. Just like in rewind, we are about.
To walk about five steps to the bus station and go back to the airport.
Merpiso.
Today we're flying air Canada from Santiago to Buenos Aires. I don't really know how that makes any sense, but we found a new lounge. It is a priority pass lounge, but we can also get in with Nate's status with star lines.
Here we go.

We just learned that our flight is delayed, but we're not even upset because that means we get more time in here and we don't have another flight to catch.
We were about to start packing up our stuff to head to our gate, but air Canada was nice enough to send someone to personally tell us that we didn't have to board for another 30 minutes. Since our flight is delayed, we're not complaining at all because the food here is amazing. And I'm working on the vlog.
We're back in loyal.
Sorry. Tomorrow.
Feels good to be back in Argentina.
It is a rainy day here. Thankfully, we don't have to worry about figuring out how to take public transport to the hotel we're staying at tonight. Because this is the start of our trip to Patagonia with Southern explorations, so they're sending somebody to pick us up.
I see it.
I'm late. Barely.
Nice to meet you.
It's way colder here.
More leg space on this side.
The sweetest lady from Southern explorations picked us up from the airport and just dropped us off at our hotel. It looks so nice.
Wow.
Love this place. This is so awesome.
Oh, yeah, it's a good one. It was super nice getting picked up at the airport and driven straight to our place.
So nice.
Instead of having to figure out how to take the public bus into town like we did last time, we were here in January, and it feels amazing. It rained, and it's still super cloudy, and it's, like, chilly outside. I had to put on a sweater.
So we're gonna try to make the most of our one night that we have here in Buenos Aires. We're gonna go get some churipan, which is our favorite food from when we were here in January.
There's place right down the road.
Yeah, we got a really good recommendation. And I'm also gonna try to find some hiking boots because we leave for Patagonia tomorrow, and I still don't have any.
So I hate to do this again, but I think last night is better summed up than it is like actually showing it on film. After this moment, we pretty much just failed at all of our plans. We went to a couple malls looking for hiking boots. We didn't find any. Then we were both really excited about getting Cherry Pond and the Cherry Pond place only took pesos and we only had a credit card. We were unable to get any money, not because we don't have our debit card, but which we got a few days ago, but because the ATMs here in Buenos Aires apparently run out of cash on the weekends and it was Sunday night and so all the ATMs that we tried were completely out of cash. Luckily we had a few pesos left over from last time we were here in Argentina. So we bought as much pizza as you can buy with $3 worth of Chilean pesos, which was like a piece and a half of pizza. And then we called it a night. Somebody in the YouTube comment section said that we seemed like we were complaining a lot more this year than we were last year. Hope we don't feel that way. Hopefully you see this as us sharing like a true travel experience with you. However, if you do feel like we're complaining more, I don't blame you. I would say more has gone wrong in this one month than did all of 2016. But with that said, we've had some amazing experiences here in South America which has made like all of the bad moments totally worth it. And one of those experiences that's definitely going to make the bad moments worth it is this week that we're about to start in Patagonia. Patagonia is one of those places that I've been dreaming about going to for a long, long time. It is an outdoors lovers paradise and I'm just looking forward to filming the whole thing. Like, the natural beauty of the Patagonia region looks amazing in the pictures. I can only imagine how good they it's going to be in real life.
And the hair.
I hate shopping.
I love shopping. Just hoping the trurry pond comes sooner than later.
Yeah, me too.
I might love food and shopping equally. No, think I love food more. Yeah, I think I do too.
And that's because apparently the ATMs here in where are we? We've been moving way too quickly. The ATMs here in Buenos Aires.
