A first-person travel vlog by Nate Buchanan (with Kara Buchanan) documenting a long travel sequence: a 13-hour flight to Bangkok followed by an overnight layover during which they sleep in/near airport lounges by hopping between multiple Priority Pass lounges (Bangkok lounges enforce a ~3-hour stay), then onward flights toward Kathmandu. The video mixes practical travel details (flight and layover durations, lounge rules) with humorous, personal commentary on the experience.

Foreign.
Checked out of our campground before sunrise. Now we're about to give Lars a bath because he has to be clean before we turn him. Then we're heading to the airport.
Time to go to the airport. Well, turn the car in and then go to the airport.
I hope I never see you again, Lars. And now we wait for a taxi.
Hey, you know they let you get more than one plate. Leaving the lounge. Rushing to our gate as usual. Had just enough time to grab sushi in a shower. It was a nice my kind of lounge.
13 hours to Bangkok.
I think we have an extra seat.
Now we have a 13 hour flight to Bangkok. Then we have an overnight 14 hour layover in Bangkok. Then from there we have a 14 and then a 4 and a half hour flight to Kathmandu.
It's a lot of traveling. Luckily we enjoy it.
I'm oddly excited about this long flight. And I get to finish life ladies and.
I believe this is called Chicken Burger Candy.
Yum. Came with a roll, butter.
Some kind of yellow cake, and it looks like potato salad. At least the coffee's good. Time for round two. Exactly. Sure what meal this is supposed to be. We're about seven hours into the flight. How are you feeling? Delicious. Longer.
I have four hours left. That's like only time for two more movies. I know.
There's that heat. Been missing that.
All. Not missed it at all. That was sarcastic. Just arrived in Bangkok. It's pretty late and we fly out pretty early tomorrow morning. We've already been to Bangkok twice this year, so the plan is to try to hang out in airport lounges all night. The tricky thing is we have to make it back through security.
When really we don't fly out until tomorrow. So it could be interesting. I pulled this off once before on my mileage run actually in this exact airport.
So I'm hopeful. But last time it was like kind of like this language barrier. And I think they just got tired of not being able to understand me and they just let me go through.
I can do that.
Maybe we'll try to pull the same thing this time. I don't know. I really have no good plans for excuses for getting us through. I tossed my way into several things today though.
We got to carry on our bags that were almost twice double the weight.
Of what the carry on was supposed to be. You never know what you're gonna get when you ask for things, so you might as well ask.
We got our bag checked all the way through to Cat Maz, which told us that couldn't happen.
We made it in.
We got to sleep on our chair.
Yeah, we were either going to sleep like outside the airport or be in airline lounges all night. And those like 10 minutes just decided our fate because there was no way we were paying for a hotel for like five hours.
Once again, I think the language barrier helped us out.
There's a slight bit of confusion. And then he waved us. Now the problem here is we're going to get in all these lounges using the priority pass. And for some reason in Bangkok they have a 3 hour limit. Luckily they have like 10 priority pass lounges here. So we just have to jump from lounge to lounge to lounge tonight.
We're gonna take a bunch of naps.
Minimal amount of sleep tonight in preparation for Everest in like two days. This one looks really fancy.
This is our home for the next three hours.
He is out and I'm about to join him.
It's two in the morning.
Gosh.
It'S two in the morning. Been here since eight. We just got kicked out of our first lounge. She told us we could only stay for two hours.
It's been six. Don't know how she spotted us.
Thank you.
And now we'll wander through the airport until we find another one. They're all pretty much the same. It is 2:30 in the morning. Why are there so many people in the airport?
Bangkok never sleeps.
Spotty cup. Nothing like a little snack at 3am in the morning before second bedtime.
It's time for a second though.
Well, it is now 5am in the morning. Time to leave our second lounge. However, I learned on my mileage run that the upstairs of this lounge is considered a different lounge than the bott part of the lounge.
So really we're just going downstairs.
It's like the least comfy bed yet.
Roger. Come on, Captain, get your stuff together.
I don't think those are for your face.
Kara. One hour into the flight. Having fun.
Sleeping.
Vlogging.
Carrie, car.
You might not be in here for three hours. You might get kicked out sooner.
