A short first-person travel vlog by Nate Buchanan documenting an attempt to surf above the Arctic Circle in Norway during winter. We are about to go surfing above the Arctic Circle during winter. I'm so scared. This is one of the best surf breaks in Norway. Except we can't even get down to the beach. The whole ground is a sheet of ice and a winter storm is brewing, so the wind is not helping. This is seriously top 3 hardest I've ever laughed in my life. Okay, we finally made it to the beach. Let's go surfing.
Well, we tried. How cool do we look, though? Even though we didn't catch any waves, being out in the water surrounded by snowy mountains made us feel so alive. Getting up to the bus was just as hard as getting down. But what better way to end this day than a hot sauna session, homemade curry, and a cozy movie night. So glad we have friends crazy enough to do this adventure with. See you tomorrow.
