A short travel vlog-style YouTube video (Nate and Kara Buchanan) documenting an early-morning trip to Oslob, Cebu to swim with whale sharks. They describe waking very early, encountering crowds, easily finding multiple whale sharks (including an instance where two large sharks passed very close while filming with a GoPro), feeling that the encounter was almost overwhelming but gentle, and then debating a waterfall hike (deciding not to go because of transport and fatigue). The vlog closes with plans to use mall Wi‑Fi to edit and post vlogs, brief mentions of food options (KFC/snacks), and general tiredness/lack of coffee.

It's currently 6 o' clock in the morning. We didn't get in until after 2 last night, and this place is pretty nasty.
These whale sharks better be good.
We thought by getting here late last night and up early this morning, we would miss the crowd, but that is not the case. Everything since we've been here has been chaos, but we think we're about to get to see the whale sharks.
Almost got myself in trouble. Almost ran out of breath down.
It.
It's sam.
How was it?
Totally worth it, man.
That'll wake me up.
I don't even need coffee.
Breakfast.
Kind of tastes like kettle corn. Buttery kettle corn Sounds fantastic.
Tired. Favorite part of swimming with whale sharks.
When we were videoing one with the GoPro, we were facing this huge whale shark. And then I turn around, and there's another huge whale shark right behind us. And Nate has no idea, and he's just kind of floating, swimming backwards. And I'm like, we're gonna get smushed by these whale sharks. They were super gentle, but moved very quickly for their size. So it was kind of scary to get close because they would just turn and start swimming at you. Their mouth is just.
The whole morning was pretty much a blur. Got up, like, 10 minutes before we had to be there. Then all of a sudden, they throw you on a boat and then paddle you out, like, I don't know, 50 yards from the shore, and they're like, all right, jump in.
Yes.
And that was it. And then there's the sharks right there. I honestly just feel like I didn't fully appreciate the experience because it was so easy. I think most people have to, like, search for whale sharks, and they were just, like, everywhere.
Crazy.
Apparently there's a cool waterfall that we're gonna hike to.
Because everybody else is doing it.
Kara's a trooper. She doesn't really want to go.
I'm tired, and there's no coffee here.
All right. We're not going to the waterfall. You couldn't take a taxi there. You had to take a motorbike because apparently the road was too small for a taxi to go on. We just heard a story about two people who got killed by a butt. I assume by the end of our three months in Southeast Asia, we'll be zipping around on them, but we're just not ready yet. We got here yesterday. I probably would have made the decision not to go, but Cara definitely made the decision not to go. I think it was a wise one. We're not going to the waterfall.
I hotel room and everyone season.
So driving here, all of the lines, the speckled lines in the road are just invisible to the drivers. They it doesn't matter which way you're going on the road as long as you give a little courtesy honk to tell them you're coming, you can drive wherever you want.
And they come.
8, 4, 5.
Thank you.
Hi, we're back in civilization. Plans for the rest of the afternoon? Hang out here at the mall because there's wi fi so we can edit vlogs and get it posted. Then go to the hotel and then early tomorrow morning fly out for.
