This is how we flew in Lufthansa first class for $250 using miles and points. And you can, too. But before I get into the details, let me tell you why you should care. You get driven to the plane in a private Porsche. Yes, I know. It's crazy. Then you get to enjoy champagne and caviar in this amazing seat. This flight should have cost us over $12,000. But instead, we use points to book through Aeroplan, which is the frequent flyer program of Air Canada. You might be thinking, I don't fly Air Canada, so this won't work for me. Wrong. Okay, time to get out your pen and pay. Step one, I searched for award space on the Aeroplan website, and I found two first class tickets for 100,000 points each. Step two, I went into my Chase account and I transferred 200,000 points to Aeroplane. Step three, the last and final step, I went back to my aeroplane account and I booked the tickets for 200,000 points and 350 Canadian dollars. And that's how you can fly Lufthansa first Class using miles and points.
