TOKYO ANIME & ELECTRONIC DISTRICT + Our first pork buns

Nate and Kara navigate Tokyo's Akihabara district, hunting through anime and electronics shops while figuring out capsule hotels, lost subway tickets, and coin lockers. They grab pork buns from a gas station and sample sushi, mixing travel chaos with food discoveries.

We're on our way to find the capsule. These are the fancy capsules that we should be. Stinks in here. This thing is gross. This is not going to be a good night of sleep. This has definitely been the most interesting night of our trip.
It was a rough night.
We survived.
Moving on. Time to get coffee at the 7 11.
I have not had enough coffee for this.
There might not be a vlog today. We don't have very much planned.
We changed our mind. I think we will do a vlog today.
Yeah. Going to the electronic district in the Anime district. And then early tomorrow morning we leave for the airport. Airport's like an hour away from the city. So we're going to go at a Radisson hotel that is right next to the airport.
It's going to be clean and nobody's going to be smoking in there. And there's one bed that we will hit. Some bed.
We want to stay as close to the airport as possible so that we can spend as much time in lounges in the morning before we leave.
Cara might have lost her subway ticket.
I don't have anything to do with. I don't know what to do.
Hopefully it's in a pocket.
It's not. It's not in a.
I'm scared of me. And get it out of the machine.
Guess as we have to buy another one. You could just try to walk out behind me.
You can tell this guy.
Crisis averted. Apparently losing your ticket isn't that big of a deal.
I don't know how that happened.
I don't know how. We have to find somewhere to store these bags.
No trash cans in this city. And I don't know how because it's so clean. But there's no trash cans anywhere. It's crazy.
That station didn't have a place where we could store our bags. So we are walking to the next station.
I think all the trash cans are in Disney World.
Leaving our stuff with those guys.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Coin lockers were cool. So we got hustled into paying a little more. Not super happy about it. But I think it was our only option.
Yep.
We open it.
Finally.
How long you been carrying that cup?
All morning. No touching it. I even asked somebody. He said no.
Kara's been wanting to get one of these dumpling things from a gas station the whole time we've been here.
We don't really want a yellow one.
The only problem is we don't know what's inside of any of them.
What is this called? What is It.
It's so warm.
Hold it.
Nothing else. It's a good hand one.
What are we eating? I think it's a dumpling. A Japanese nakama.
I love this. You take the biggest bites.
We are currently in the anime in tech district called Akihabra of Tokyo.
I can't believe he remembered the name of this place.
It's freezing today. It's really cold and really windy. So if it sounds bad, I'm sorry. Lots of scantily clad cartoons around here. Yeah, I got some free tissues.
Where'd you get those?
I took them personal.
The great thing about Tokyo's food is that you never have to wonder what you're gonna get because they make plastic replicas of everything on the menu. Somebody is making a killing making plastic food.
That soup is so shiny.
We gotta quit doing this.
We looked at all the restaurants in this whole food court and we're go.
To the sushi TR popular spot.
This is the line for this. Fishing around.
It's the only way to do it.
That was way too much. Wasali.
Ordered a California roll in Jap.
Now this is California roll.
Give them a disclaimer. We have not seen any sushi that actually has rice on the outside.
So all the sushi we've seen has either been Shishimi or it has the seaweed on the outside. We have not seen one roll with the rice on the outside or with more than one ingredient. I'm pretty sure this is on the menu for the Americans.
Thank you, Japan waiting to pay again.
I guess we run out of time to figure this.
Just always being here, right?
I like the light in here.
That was an electronic check.
We are in the number one hot spot of Yoda Yokeshobee.
There are eight floors of different electronics. Here we go.
Quick.
It's a dyson robot. Giant TVs.
Got to be careful in Tokyo. You might catch Clydia. That is crazy. Cameras. Nate is into his drawing right now.
Oh my gosh.
We could have just entered what might be the world's largest anime store.
84 anime, here we come.
That got inappropriate quickly. That was weird. With the camera away.
We made it back to the airport. From here we are catching a shuttle bus to the Radisson, which is where we're staying for the night. And then we will be back here bright and early tomorrow morning for some airport lounges.
This place is fancy.
Yay.
The snacks.
Oh, four olives and some nuts.
That's what having status gets you.
You.
I can't wait to take my pants off. And throw them out the window for somebody who needs pants to find never going to wear them ever again.
