Nate Buchanan maps out his Africa trip: Cape Town through mid-July, Victoria Falls, Mauritius for two weeks starting July 21, then Zanzibar. After that he's heading to Dubai and Europe for September through December. He's asking viewers for local recommendations.
We've been meaning to shoot this video for a while now and it's not that we don't want to tell you like where we're going in the future as soon as possible. I've just gotten really bad about booking things last minute. Like when we were in Johannesburg sleeping in the airport last week, I hadn't even booked our flight to Cape Town that was supposed to leave the next day. But we finally have all of our travel sorted out for at least the next month. So let me show you.

So we are currently hereish in Cape Town, South Africa. We got here on July 6th and we will be here through the 17th. After we leave Cape Town, we'll be flying to Victoria Falls where we'll be the 17th through the 20th. How did Mauritius start touching Madagascar? After leaving Victoria Falls, we'll fly to the island of Mauritius, which is just east of Madagascar. We currently have a flight booked into Mauritius on July 21 and flying out on August 4. The original plan was to spend a week in Madagascar and then fly back to Mauritius. At this point we're not sure about Madagascar, so we may just end up spending two full weeks in Mauritius. That's yet to be determined. Our two biggest concerns with traveling to Madagascar for a week is one, safety and two, the flights from Mauritius to Madagascar are really expensive. On July 4th, we fly from Mauritius to Zanzibar, which is an island just off the coast of Tanzania. We're planning on staying in Zanzibar for about a week, but we could extend that for a couple days. Our current plan after Zanzibar is to fly to Dubai, where we'll then continue on to Eastern Europe. But nothing is set in stone, so don't hold us to it. We'll update you on those plans after we get something booked, which could be the day before. And that completes our travel plans through mid August. August. After that we're planning on spending at least a week in Dubai and maybe checking out some other Middle Eastern countries and then from there continuing on to Europe. And we plan on spending September through December somewhere in Europe. Also, we want to do a better job of listening to your suggestions for what we should do when we get to a city. We've done a really poor job of that up to this point because we're never telling you that we're going somewhere until you see these vlogs and we actually get to the city. So we've come up with what we think is a solution. We've created a Google form where you can go on. You can tell us which city you live in, what we should do in your city, where we should stay when we get to your city, and give us any other information that we should know about visiting your city so that we can show it in the best possible light on this vlog. So if you live in the Middle east or if you live anywhere in Europe where we'll be spending a lot of time the second half of the year, please take the time to to go down.
