USA to GEORGIA (the country) - Sick of Airport Lounges?

A travel vlog by Nate Buchanan (with Kara Buchanan) documenting their journey from the USA to the country of Georgia. The vlog shows short scenes: a donut stop, packing new backpacks, multiple airport/flight segments (including visits to Centurion Lounge and an Italian lounge with made-to-order pizza), flights on American Airlines to Rome and Turkish Airlines onward to Georgia, and a late-night arrival and pickup in Tbilisi. The couple comment on over-eating in lounges, crowded Centurion Lounges, and fatigue after roughly 24 hours of travel; they note this is their 78th country.

Did you just say you're sick of lounges?
I'm not sick of lounges. I'm just, like. I feel like I've eaten, like, 17 meals in the last 24 hours on every flight in every lounge.
So heavy. Oh, my goodness.
Our five days back in the US has gone by so fast and. But we've had the best time doing our first commercial here in Maine. But now it's time to get on a plane and go back to the other side of the world.
Today we are flying to the country of Georgia. But before we head to the airport, there's one more place we have to stop.
If you know me, you know I love donuts. And the reason that I'm extra excited about this one is that it's made with potatoes, so it's, like, extra heavy. All the donuts up there were so beautiful. It was so hard to choose. But I went with the maple bacon, and it's just, like, melting into my hands right now.
Whoa.
That is so heavy. And the bacon is so smoky. It has, like, the perfect combination of sweet and savory. It's like a whole meal inside of one donut. And I'm sure there's enough calories for it to be an entire meal. Would you like a bite of the donut? For those of you who don't know, Kara hates sweet, sweet friends. Like, all of the delicious things in the world. Donuts, pancakes, waffles, cinnamon rolls. She hates it all. She was almost perfect.
The bacon smells really good. I'll eat a piece of bacon.
Just try. Just try it.
No.
This is the only time that you.
Why would you force empty calories on me?
Guess that's the end of that time lapse.
All right, we gotta go to the airport.
They're serious.
You may notice that we both have on new backpacks, and that's because both of our backpacks have busted in the last couple of weeks. Few weeks. So we got these to hold us over until we can find some new cool camera bags. We just can't find a camera bag that we like. I just wish I could create my own. So soon we're gonna find one. But until then, Adidas is holding us over. It's not too bad.
Made it through security, but there are no lounges in the airport. What are we gonna do?
Unfortunately, there was. Prepare to listen. Departure cross check. But because we were hanging out. Cross check is complete. But because we were hanging out. And. Ladies and gentlemen, the boarding door is now closed. But because we were hanging out in the airport, if you plan on using any small portable electronic devices, now's the time to switch the devices to airplane mode or turn your cellular service off. I've never heard him say that before. Unfortunately, there was no lounge. But because we were hanging out in the airport, we learned that the assistant director of the airport watches our vlog. He was super nice. The lights will be turned off for your convenience. A reading light is located above your seat. Thank you for your attention and enjoy the flight.
Sam.
And an hour and a half later, we just landed in West Philadelphia. Born, raised on the playground is where I spend most of my days. But for real, we only have about 30 minutes until our next flight. And one of our favorite lounges is here, the Centurion Lounge. So that's where we're going now.
Yay.
This place is packed right now. It always is for some reason. But we found this big chair we can share. Not bad. Now it's time to get food.
Wish we had five hours in here again. Here we go.
Go, go.
Made it to our gate. I'm out of breath. I was getting a little worried that we were too late, but people are still lined up to board.
So all you have to do to get into the Centurion Lounge is have the American Express Platinum card, which is both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because we signed up for the card and we get into the lounge, but it's a curse because so has everyone else.
It is too easy.
The downfall about all of the Centurion Lounges that we've been to in the last year is that they're completely packed. It's super hard to find a seat. But in the end, it's completely overlooked because the food is so good and.
The massages, if you get there early enough.
Okay. We are about to jump on an eight hour flight to Rome. Once again, we're stuck in the middle, so there probably won't be a lot of filming.
Goodbye America. Here we go. I can't believe we're already going back to Italy.
I'm a little excited that there's no outlet so I can watch movies. It's not work. Just don't get mad and send me messages. And there's no cabin, which is Route 8. 41.
Finally let you do that.
Is 9:15am Rome time. Which means our bodies think it's the middle of the night. But feeling pretty good because we got to sleep on that flight a little bit.
We got so lucky. We were crammed into the very middle of the plane. Sitting four across and Then the two people who were sitting next to to us just decided to get up and move. So we had the entire row all to ourselves.
Sorry.
So the bummer is we're taking two separate flights to get to Georgia. So we just flew American Airlines to Rome, and now we're about to fly Turkish Airlines from here to Georgia. Two completely separate flights. So we had to go get our bags, go through customs. Now we're back standing in the airport. We have to go back to security.
Super hot, super crowded, and I think we might be too early to check in. I don't even know where to go.
Now we're just complaining.
Yeah.
All right. We made it through security. Now we have two hours till our flight testimony.
A long travel day.
I'm pretty sure it's already bled over into a second day at this point.
I love this lounge. They have made to order pizza. Very happy that we're getting one last yummy Italian meal, because I don't know when we're coming back. This lounge is beautiful, spacious, has big windows, great food.
Okay, two more flights. First to Istanbul, then to Tbilisi.
Hello.
Got the little seat, but there's no TVs, no outlets.
What am I supposed to do for two hours.
Ram?
Okay, we have seven minutes to find our connecting flight.
No problem. You were a lot closer to me than I thought you're getting. We didn't have time to go to a lounge in this airport, which is kind of a bummer. It's our last flight of many today, and I'm kind of just, you know.
Country number 78.
After almost exactly 24 hours of travel, we have officially made it into Georgia, Our Airbnb host and a driver to come pick us up. I figured that was the best choice, considering that it is 11:30pm at night.
Thank you.
I think we've slept for, like, four hours in the last 30. It's time to go to sleep.
That sound a donut bird would make? Oh, it's an angel. Look.
You just joke on the one tiny piece of bacon that you ate.
You're pulling my neck back with your arm trying to stuff it in my face.
Women. Who doesn't eat donuts?
Wait, you wake up here.
It wasn't time yet.
What are you waiting for?
