Our time here at Ocean Villas is sadly ending. We have a big adventure planned for today. Something I never thought I would do. We're going in the submarine.
Hello.
Who?
That is gonna be us. How crazy is that? Why didn't we get married to the submarine next time?
So we just met Luke. He started this whole operation in 1998.
And he is the one that actually invented the sub scooters that we're gonna be riding later today. Is there anything you'd like to tell YouTube?
Just come to visit us and we'd love to share our adventure and our experience with you.
They have one of 12 commercial submarines.
Yes. There is only 12 submarine operations in the world and we are the only one who operates very small submarines. Enjoy your stay in Mauritius and your day with Blue Safari.
Thank you very much.
Take off me inside and you sit in the ring.
Bye bye bye bye. See you next year.
Okay.
We are in submarine. Insane. It's like a plane but underwater.
It really is. But look how blue the water is.
This is amazing.
Look at all the buttons and those.
We're going down.
There goes the boat.
Bye bye boat.
Welcome aboard the BS 1100. A bit about safety insight.
We just drove through the middle of the shipwreck. They sang it on purpose for it to become an artificial reef. And then there was a cyclone and it just tore it all to shreds. Smells everywhere.
Just awesome.
And we're back.
Well, back to the surface.
So thank you very much for your visits. Be very careful on the deck. You'll be very slippery. When I will open the shutterback. You might feel a slight pressure on your wheels. Don't worry, that's normal.
That was awesome.
We are finished with the submarine and now we're going on the next boat.
To ride the sub scooters.
All ready to scoot.
Go on the end.
Which one you want?
Let's go on this one. Are you gonna drive?
Yeah. Can I?
Yeah, you can drive.
These are so cute.
Tell us how this thing works. You're gonna be the one driving.
Okay? We just got some driving lessons. The two pedals back there make you go straight. You have to press them both at the same time. This is how you steer. Obviously. If there is an emergency, you press this button.
If for some reason you can't breathe, you have this. But otherwise, once this is down, we're gonna have an air bubble with oxygen and we'll be able to breathe.
Crazy. We're about to head under. Switching to the GoPro. Okay, here we go.
Ready to go? Ready to go. Ready to die? No, we're in.
Ready to go.
Excuse me. Put the air for you.
Yes. We need that.
Crank it up.
What a crazy contraption this is. Nut.
I feel like we're in the future right now.
I don't know why I agreed to let you drive.
We're going down.
Oh, my gosh.
So cool.
Oh, there's fish.
Wow.
So cool. We're off.
We're going. This is nuts. We are underwater, breathing, talking to each other in a bubble in a motorized scooter. Submarine thing. Check this out.
How crazy we are pedal to the metal right now, going a total of 5 miles per hour. This is amazing.
That was great. Thank you very much. You're welcome, sir.
That was so much fun.
Thank you very much.
Thank you.
Thanks, guys.
So how was it?
It was a blast.
That was amazing. I like assume I'll do a lot of things in my life, but being in a submarine was never on my radar. And that was such a cool experience. So cool.
Thank you very much.
Oh, thank you.
Nice. We came straight from Blue Safari here to our new hotel, Ocean Beauty, which is just down the road from our last hotel. But now we're in Parabay instead of Grand Bay.
We'll give you a quick tour of our room and then we're gonna go find some lunch because it's 2:30 and we haven't eaten since breakfast.
And we're starting.
Find a nice warm spot. Yeah, let's go get some food. I'm starving.
I love our windproof balcony.
This man is. Thank you.
Two wraps and then one hot chips.
Perfect. Merci.
Thank you very much.
How is it start without me?
It's really, really good.
We just thought we were done with lunch until we saw these crock pots and fresh samosas.
Pork.
Gotta get some.
I'm thinking about a career change. That looked pretty fun. Must touch the buttons.
Oh, I love these.
Thank you.
They're like Joe shoes from the 90s. Nate got a life jacket upgrade.
Only the pink one was for the man.
