YouTube vlog by Nate Buchanan (with Kara) documenting travel from the Philippines to Singapore. The speakers describe a disrupted travel day: an earlier-than-expected bus, flight delays due to weather, a 10-hour layover in Cebu with poor facilities, payment of a $30 terminal/exit fee, limited waiting space until a lounge opens at 7:30pm, boarding a 4-hour flight with no complimentary food/beverages, and arriving in Singapore around 2:00am where they plan to sleep in the airport to save money. The video includes scenes in the lounge and brief morning remarks after arrival.

We're going to Singapore.
Singapore?
Yeah.
No. We live in the United States. But we're gonna travel for a year so we're going to a lot of place.
Yeah, one year travel.
Really?
Yeah. We've only been gone for two weeks.
Well, this morning's been a little crazy. Our bus showed up earlier than expected. We didn't have time for coffee or to do any videoing. It is now 11 o' clock and we are at the airport. In an hour and a half we'll leave here and fly to Cebu. And we have a 10 hour layover in an airport with no lounge and terrible wi fi. So we are not looking forward to that. And then we get to Singapore at 2am and the plan is to sleep in the airport to save money on a hotel.
You think I'd never done that before.
No lounges in Siargao.
Always sleeping.
Light.
Daisy.
6, 8, 5, 4. Bong form and fancy booth. May I have your attention please? Very great. I better that your flight will be delayed due to a weeping weather.
We've now been delayed due to weather. She still doesn't know cuz she's still asleep. Sitting here with our 50 closest friends.
Dump.
Good thing we weren't going very far on those.
We're back in Cebu and guess what we're doing?
Skating in line.
It's currently 3pm our flight demand like 30 minutes ago and we can't check in to our flight for Singapore until 7:30. So we have to kill four and a half hours in a space that is.
It ends there.
And you board your planes here. So we have about 100 yards of space to entertain ourselves for the next.
One restaurant.
Pizza. It is such a relaxing environment. There's a little construction. There's currently a competition between our restaurant and the construction workers to see who can make the most noise.
We're getting the suntan.
It's quite the sunset in the airport right now.
You should do a time lapse.
They don't open till 7:30.
I do have good news.
There's a lounge here.
Where?
Inside.
Once we get in at 7:30.
Yeah.
Yay. Is there coffee?
There's food.
Terminal fee. Did you.
Oh no.
Not yet.
Okay. Straight left side there.
Thank you.
We had to give them money to let us leave the country.
$30 to leave this terrible airport.
We're here. We are back where we belong. In the lounges.
Finally. Because goodness gracious.
Was a rough four hours. But we survived. Now we are.
Hanging out here till 10 o'. Clock until we board our flight for Singapore.
Much needed coffee. This is what I'm talking about.
We have to pig out in this lounge because we're about to get on a four hour flight that has no food or beverages.
Unless you pay for them, you're not allowed to.
I'm gonna get some water.
A nice man just brought us this delicious snack.
Currently 10pm, our flight is boards in five minutes. As usual, we will be making it to the gate at the last minute. The entire time we've been here, there's only been three other people in this lounge. It is the best service that I've ever had in a lounge. The people here are fantastic. We commandeered our own little space here in the lounge. Since we were all by ourselves.
We made quite the mess.
Right on time.
Kara, you're not dancing to get on this flight.
It's not business class.
Look at all this leg room.
Oh my gosh.
Squeeze, squeeze.
This is terrible.
I'm not a tall person. 510 at best. And I can't even straighten my knees.
See you in Singapore.
First day I didn't wake up to go get coffee right away. It's been too long. Whoa.
Did you wake your coffee?
I always go downstairs with you.
She got herself a little bit too much.
This is the first morning I haven't come downstairs to Nate already ordering my coffee.
