Short travel-vlog style video (uploaded Feb 2, 2023 by Nate Buchanan) demonstrating what to wear to swim with orcas in Norway above the Arctic Circle. The speakers list and show multiple layers—wool base layer and socks, sweatpants, waterproof pants, wool sweater, T-shirt/cardigan, puffy jacket, full insulated suit, dry suit with gaskets, thick neoprene hood, plus flippers, mask, gloves, and a camera—to protect against freezing winter conditions.

Did you know that you can swim with orcas in Norway? The only problem is they're only here in the wintertime. And in case it's not obvious, it's freezing in Norway in the winter. So let me show you exactly what we wear to go swimming above the Arctic Circle.
So this is a wool base layer first, pair of wool socks second, then pair of sweatpants. I only have these, like, waterproof pants, wool sweater. Oh, actually, you're gonna add a T shirt as an extra layer. Imagine your cardigan. Both fun. Then I wear a puffy jacket on top of that. Then we put on this full insulated suit. Then it's time for the dry suit. It doesn't water in, thanks to these little gaskets. This is so hard. We're getting close. We put this super thick neoprene hood on. Very hard to hear. Oh, man. Sweat has begun. Okay, so the last thing to complete the suit are flippers, a mask. Oh, and gloves, and a massive camera. Wish us luck.
Here we go.
