This is the story of how I ended up sleeping on the ground in an ice cave underneath a glacier. It all started by marrying my extreme adventure loving husband Nate almost 10 years ago. And this week when he learned that you can pack everything you need to survive on a sled, strap it to your back and climb over a glacier in the dark, then crawl down into an ice cave and sleep underneath sharp icicles, he had to do it. Which meant I had to do it with him because even though I hate being cold and dark, glacial caves really scare me. He has yet to lead me on an adventure that I've regretted saying yes to after a freezing night of trying to sleep. Morning. We successfully completed this challenge and I'm sure it won't be the last. Don't tell him, but I secretly love how much he pushes me outside of my comfort zone as long as it keeps bringing me coffee in bed. Love ya. See you tomorrow.
