About three days ago, Nate booked our Airbnb about five minutes before we got on our flight to come here to Mauritius, and it turned out so great. We love this Airbnb. And it also turns out that the people who own it also own an eco tourism company that has ziplining, river trekking, and, I think, some other stuff. And they've invited us to come check it out for the day.
They have coffee. I already love it here.

Oh, interesting. This is the first local Mauritian food we've had. I'm so excited.
There's fish in the rice.
It is delicious.
Lunch was delicious. We had rice with dried sweet swordfish in it. We had some kind of pumpkin that had curry in it. We had these green plants that are right behind us. Not sure what part of those plants we ate. And then some really cool toppings like this lemony. These, like, bits of lemon that you put on the rice and the seasoned coconut. It was incredible. Our first experience with Mauritian food went extremely well. Delicious Mauritius.

We spent the afternoon hanging out here at Chazelle while they ran one more ziplining tour. And now we're about to jump in the car and head back to our Airbnb. It was a great day. It was. We chose a good Airbnb. Yeah. Glad we got to go. Who knew it would have led to this?
