1,000 Trading strategies tested – THIS is the BEST one!

Thomas Forward argues that copying popular trading setups doesn't work. Instead, he outlines a framework: pick tools that show real liquidity, assess your emotional traits (your "Trader DNA"), create automatic entry triggers, set comfortable risk limits, and join a community to reinforce discipline.

Thousands of strategies, I tested a lot of them, but trust in me, if you are looking for the real best setup, forget it. This is not the real way we have to go to become a successful trader. No, we have to go away with a very, very good strategy step by step. And if you think, what is he talking now? Please listen to me. You have to go a real way to become a successful trader. Who I am? I'm Thomas Forward. I'm the Champions Maker. I have taught people like Patrick Nair, Christoph Radicker, Andrea Cimitan, and give them a little bit of stuff for, yes, subconscious, healthy, and anything else. And if you will see what I have done today, it will change your way to become a successful trader. Trust in me. A lot of people out there learn trading by putting technical setups into practice. But what are you actually missing? Above all, you're missing one thing: clarity. Is this setup even reproducible in all market phases? Where can I apply this, and when does it make sense? Because if we're honest with ourselves, we have long since had to realize that we often use setups that perform great in one market phase or another and also look fantastic in backtesting, but in reality, they don't work. And the truth behind this is quite simple. Most setups only work either in trending phases or in ranging phases. But it gets even further. Now, there are people who say, "Yes, I have a setup for both market phases." But does your personality fit with these different setups to implement? Because one of them will most likely require a great deal of patience, and the other one is a very accelerated setup. Completely different character traits. And we traders, we should learn one thing: most of the time, we can't do everything because our personality profile doesn't fit. But today, I want to show you how you can design the perfect strategy so that it suits you. And maybe today is going to be a bit different than imparting in-depth knowledge about a strategy. No, today I'm giving you the tools to first establish a strategy and properly review it. That's why you should stay tuned, because I can promise you one thing: this is the toolkit you need to be able to continue working as a trader in the long run. And if you don't choose this path but instead think you can just copy something, I'm telling you, you will fail 99% of the time. And that's exactly why it's so important to me to show you all of this, and I'll do it point by point. Whether you're just starting out in trading or you've been at it for a long time, what's the most important thing for you? The key for you is first to recognize which tools are actually useful to you. Because in any regular profession, whether it's a craftsman, an engineer, or whatever, they don't work with just any nonsense either. A painter or a carpenter doesn't work with musical instruments. They use the tools they need for their specific tasks. And it's the same in trading. When you come to the markets as a trader and maybe say, okay, I really want to make money here, and I have the time and the capital for it, then first you need the right strategy to approach the markets. And to implement this strategy, you need the tools that show you exactly when it's time to take action and where to do it. And that's exactly why the first point is definitely having the right tools that fit your strategy. I'd like to quickly show you something about this. Look, for example, if you go and say, I want to do counter-trading, so trading against the trend, then first you need the ability to even identify whether this location here, this price area, area where the market has dropped down is actually suitable for a reversal. But the truth is, very often we don't even know what it looks like on the dynamic side, whether liquidity is really leaving that area, whether absorption is taking place, whether the market participants who could actually push the market sustainably upwards from here are even participating. And if you don't use a tool that gives you the ability to look at exactly those candlesticks, which always look so great in hindsight, in the right at the moment in such a way that you can recognize, yes, there really isn't any more liquidity moving there, or the markets have played the game in exactly the same way as is often the case with reversals, where sellers always come in, but in the end, the big buyer absorbs everything and then turns the market around. So how are you supposed to work with this if you can't even see all of this here? That's exactly why you need the right tools. And then you need the right strategy where you first recognize, is this price area even interesting for a reversal? Because there's a high probability that market participants could stop there. And secondly, is there a setup, meaning what you need for an entry, that also provides you with this information? And then you've already made a huge step forward because suddenly you have a way to look deeper into the market and get evidence for your idea. And that already feels much, much better than just flying blind. And the reference like, oh, it looked so cool before too, and that's why it will turn out that way again— you can forget about that. You need deep insights into the markets. What is the second point that I urge every trader to take to heart? And that's something I've experienced myself in all the years I've worked with people, and where some truly outstanding traders were able to develop themselves. And I can tell you, the second important thing is when you test a strategy for yourself, when you have a tool, you need to know whether it is personally beneficial for you to implement this strategy, considering your own emotional challenges that might stand in your way. Or if you are someone who is by nature very, very calm or very dynamic, choose the strategy in such a way that it suits you. And for that, we use the Trader DNA, and that's nothing more than a way to find out super quickly how you tick, what are your characteristics, And what are your hidden blockages? Why is it that you often can't manage to implement something? You probably know this, that you wait too long or that you enter the market too quickly. And that's exactly because you're applying and implementing a strategy that doesn't suit you at all. And that's why we approach things from the other end. In plain terms, we call this the Trader DNA. And that's nothing more than taking a deeper look at your emotional components. And then adjusting the strategy accordingly to your challenges. And suddenly a lot of things become easier, because I can promise you one thing: there are a lot of things in trading that you're not even aware of, because our brain works in such a way that we act completely unconsciously about 95% of the time, or even a bit more. That's how our brain is structured. We think over 60,000 thoughts every day. And that's why it's simply not possible to consciously process all these thoughts with reason all the time. You would go crazy. It's like walking. We don't consciously think about lifting our foot. And it's the same in trading. And if you manage to build your trading strategy in such a way that you're able to execute it unconsciously, when the market reaches a price level, you see your setup, and you enter the trade without thinking, "Oh, should I do it now?" "Oh, is this really a good idea?" Yes, then you do it unconsciously, and the conscious prior division in your mind is necessary to create exactly this loop, to unconsciously get into the flow of execution. And then you'll realize that you start to perform really well. But what is the third thing you need to develop a reproducible strategy for yourself? The third point, and this is the most essential point where traders in the The implementation phase of their trading is where they always fail. It's due to discipline and the right risk management. And now we're coming back to that. I said we're tackling this from the end. Your risk management has to suit you. You have to feel comfortable with it, and it has to be tailored to your strategy, just as I've shown you in previous videos. And only then will you be able to achieve long-term and sustainable success, because you will automatically and unconsciously be disciplined in what you do, in how you start your day, in how you run your business. And that's the great thing about it. And if you can achieve exactly that for yourself, discipline without heaviness, without "I don't feel like it, but I have simply understood that this is part of my job," only then do I find out which key figures are relevant to my strategy, and then you can start making adjustments. Which adjustment screw do I turn? Can I adjust my hit rate because I start working more deeply with my tools, implementing the strategy that suits me, putting it into action, improving myself there? Or can I work on my risk-reward ratios because I might use different route planning for my implementation? And these are truly the most important, most crucial points. And anyone who has stayed with the video up to this point will understand 100%, yes, this is the way. And now I want to give you one last point. And this point is incredibly valuable for people who are learning this profession. To put things into practice together with other people. To connect with people and simply learn things together with others. Because I promise you one thing, 4 eyes always see more than 2. And 10 eyes, like we have here at Trades and Traders, see even more than just 2 eyes. And when we're all here together, and for example 12 of us bring our trading desk to life, then we have 24 eyes on the job. And now you might think that would lead to chaos. No, for example, we clearly organize ourselves on the communication level according to our structures so that we know who is using what among us, who benefits from what, what is the risk management for that, and then we exchange ideas. Only in the morning, before we go to the markets, do we come together and communicate. And after that, we all go into our own execution. And only when we notice that we are uncertain, unclear, or something feels off, then we start a conversation with the people in our team who use similar strategic patterns. And that's an awesome move. You learn something, you adapt it to your personality, you improve the math behind it, implement it with discipline, and then you also have buddies by your side from whom you can get feedback loops you will receive more information because you can't possibly keep an eye on 20 markets by yourself. And that's trade the traders. And this is how you will consciously learn to sharpen your subconscious and thus get into the flow, reach the basic tone, get into the state where your trading just runs smoothly for you without any heaviness, and you can simply establish the profession of trader for yourself as such. And I hope you enjoyed this, and even more, I hope you believe me that this is a way that will get you, relatively soon, without having to learn the thousandth setup, to successful implementation, and above all that you can develop joy and passion, and all the frustration just leaves your system because this profession of being a trader is simply incredibly great. I know what I'm talking about, I've been doing this job for over 20 years, and I've also experienced incredible lows because I didn't follow many of these processes And that's why it's so important to me to share this message with you. I've brought out great traders with that logic because I put myself in the other person's shoes. And the moment I put myself in the other person's shoes and look at what you actually need, it becomes much easier from my perspective to say, okay, I think I know which lever we need to adjust so that you are able to implement things sustainably and feel comfortable doing so. And that's the right way to teach people something about the capital markets. I hope you enjoyed it. Feel free to leave me a like. Thank you very much.
