So I made seven $100 day trading Tesla today. What's going on guys? Welcome back to another video. So in this video I want to recap my trading day. Like I mentioned, I made about seven $100 day trading Tesla and also just wanted to wish you guys a happy new year. And also if you guys have been following my channel for a while, I've been posting a lot of trade recap videos and if you guys are liking them, comment down below, let me know. And also if you guys can take a second out and just like this video and give it a thumbs up, I would really, really appreciate that. So now let's get started and dive into this trade. So As I mentioned, $7,100 on Tesla, 2.87 R on the trade. This is the trade details. I'll dive into that in a bit. But let's go into the overall trade. Why did I take a trade Tesla, Where I got in, where I got out, why I got in, why I got out, Right. So obviously Tesla was on watch. If you guys were watching the news over the weekend, Tesla reported delivery numbers and those numbers came out phenomenal. So with that being said, Tesla had a catalyst. Now having a catalyst for stock is huge because once there's a catalyst, that stock now becomes on watch for majority of traders and institutions and so on after it being on watch. You know, looking at pre market data, this is all the pre market data today you guys can see from Friday's close around 1054, we gapped up into 1100, right? We gapped up about 60, 70 points. Strong move, nice volume in the pre market. So getting the catalyst, getting the pre market move, getting the volume already makes this a high probability play, high probability setup. So this now becomes a stock that I put on my watch list. Now if you guys are in sml, I spoke about my game plan today and I spoke about the names I'm watching and my biggest name was on Tesla and my game plan for Tesla and this is how you guys should set up game plans is you guys should be looking to, you guys should look at a stock with the ideology of not that it will go up now, not that it will go down or it will stay flat, but if X, Y and Z happens, this is how I'll trade it. If this happens, this is how I'll trade it. But now the main thing I was watching on Tesla was I was watching to see if you can get a continuation, continuation on this, either with the morning shakeout or a continuation or gap and go, which Seems more likely. Now, what we did get is we kind of got the gap and go. Not right off the bat. The gap and go wasn't consistent on a smaller time frame, as you guys can see. Let's go on a 15 minute. It wasn't consistent, but we did get the morning shakeout on the first minute or two. And that's where I got in, right? So right on the open, I had a major level around 1137. So right when Tesla opened, we got a heavy rejection. At 11:50, after having a heavy rejection, we got a nice push down into 1137. Now when you got a push down into 1137, that's where I got in. I was waiting for that morning bounce. That's the setup I had for this trade. I get the morning bounce. I get the morning hold. Once I see 11:37 here. Holding Once I see 11:40s. Holding. Once I see the tape is strong on this, I go in with 10 contracts on 3450. Now I went in 10 contracts. As you guys know, I started a new 50k account. I'm trying to restrict buying for multiple reasons. I'll maybe make a video that for YouTube. So size has been down. I'm trying to grow this account, but got in 10 contracts. Usually, as you guys have seen my other videos, I'm in 20, 30, maybe 40 contracts. Also starting off the new year, want to try to build the cushion, not going super heavy and, you know, start destroying capital. So, you know, now I have a 7k cushion. I build another few grand, another few grand, and that cushion just gets larger and larger and allows me to take more aggressive trades. So I take my first trade in about a minute and 40 seconds in 931, get in 10 contracts at 3450 after getting those, getting a fill at 3450. See that hold right here? Right when I see that hold, I got in after seeing that hold, we start seeing a bounce, we start seeing a little hold and then we start seeing continuation. Right when we start seeing the continuation, I start scaling out and 940. Now, obviously even this order right here, by the way, I'll talk about. I didn't mean to take this trade out. So if you guys are in the small chat, when I was trading this on live chat, I traded it with the members in the group, but I got like fake filled on this, which I'll talk about, right? So at 940, we start seeing the move up. So once again, my entry's around here. We started Getting a move up around here, 940, right when I start seeing a little bit push up into 1160 and I'm like, you know what, we're having a hard time breaking 1160, but we're still holding the 1150s. Let me take some size off. So I take 5 off, right? When I took 5 off, I made a little over $3,500 on that. And then I didn't mean to take the other five off. I wanted to see another leg up. So the other would have maybe came out close to 1170. However, trading on TOS, when I hit the order, it didn't go through. So I hit it again. So accidentally I hated twice. So I got filled at this level, right? This second fill was supposed to be at 44s. 45s however got filled here. It's totally okay. But just looking at the overall trade, super quick trade, got the morning bounce bounce level held. Was able to read that once I was able to read that area, caught that zone and then we got the spike up. Right when the spike up happened, right, right here, I took profits, I walked out. Kind of got saved from this. This was a whole nother territory of price action. Got kind of got saved from this. But looking at the bigger picture, Tesla did close very strong. Now going into Tesla, we had a lot of open interest at and a lot of volume right at the 1150s and the 1200s. 1200 is insane. 137,000 contracts traded, you go into the 1250, 76,000. Right, you go into the 1300 50,000. So just looking at the option chain and the strength of Tesla going into this week, if this trend stays alive, we might touch all time highs. We might go into 1300, we might even go up higher because the strength is there. Not saying go and buy calls and go and swing this, but just the option chain itself looks very, very strong. Looks like we might see a gambit squeeze into all time highs. Right? But besides that, just recapping my trade, just wanted to break all of that down for you guys. You know, like I said, this was supposed to be a bigger day. Wasn't the big day because it was maybe the new year. But I'm still happy with the trade. Started my day. Day one off green started off, you know, making 20% on the trade. I had almost a three R in the trade. And just talking about R risk, 2500 to make 7100. And you know, in my book that's phenomenal. If I can do that consistently in different sizes, I think I'm doing a great job. So that being said, thank you so much for watching and I will see you guys in the next video.
