These are charts how you've always wished you could see them. Order flow charts are a professional trading tools that I see very few retail traders using, but a lot of professional world champion level traders are. The moment I had a level up in my trading career was when I introduced the order flow analysis to price action. I had the haha moment. I'm talking about people like Patrick Mill, two time world trading champion, Fabio Valentini, four times top ranked scalper, Enrico Stucchi, one of my mentors, and even people like Umar Ashraf, Carmine Nerozato, and a lot of people in the institutional space yet use order flow instead. Of course, order flow is not the holy grail of trading. It's not a new fancy trendy strategy, it's just a tool. The tool alone will not make you profitable. But learning the language of order flow means learning the language of the markets, which is the first step to becoming a professional trader. And in this video I will show you the software that I have been using to read order flow for the last three years, which is not just any order flow software because not only it shows you all types of footprint charts, big trades by big operator and smart money, all types of volume profiles and countless order flow indicators, but it's also a trading platform that you can connect with any futures broker or prop firm out there that has an integrated risk manager to automatically cap your risk management and help you avoid really bad trading days, overtrading, oversizing, over risking in general. It has a back tester that doesn't only show you open high, low, close of candles, but has intra bar granularity. And in this video I will walk you through all of the platform as we have just released it and if you like it there is a huge discount for the launch offers. Like you're not going to see these prices ever again. Let's get to know DeepChart.
So let's open our DeepCharts platform. This is the main bar and the first thing you should do when you get deepcharts is go to the feed in the fit settings and the platform comes with a integrated 50 minute delay data feed that then you can upgrade to the real time data feed as soon as you need it with a lot of different options. So you can name it, select it and save and then we click here to connect. So now I am connected to the feed and I can click on new price chart here I get all of the markets that I want. I have the dow in the CBOT, all of the bonds in the CBOT, all the commodities as well the CMEs with the S and P, the NASDAQ and the micro contracts and Bitcoin as well the CME Forex with all of the Forex pairs that are available with $, the COMEX for gold, silver and copper, the Urex for the DAX and the NYMEX for crude oil and natural gas. I'm going to open my favorite one which is the ES of course and it's going to download the data. The first time has to download a lot of order flow data so it's going to take a couple of minutes to build the chart depending on your connection. Overall, as you can see it's downloading tick es 2025, the December contract. And there we have our chart. This is a normal candlestick chart that comes of course included on this bar. Of course you have all of the trading tools like any proper trading platform. The rectangles, the lines, some te and you have this which is really cool, which is a volume profile that needs to be loaded of course. There you go. And it's a fixed range volume profile. Then you have the buy annotation which unlike most has a really cool settings. If you double click you will see this money settings. And if I click and select quantity mode, Risk stop and then on stop instead of ticks I put money, I can set a risk amount based on let's say $500. Click OK, I save and you see here it's buy 125 and the risk is 500 and I can go up and down, up and down. It's always going to keep it right there at $500 and tell me how many contracts I should open so you don't need to do the calculation all yourself. Same thing with the sell for example. And I can also activate the trading panel. This level right here means that the trading is activated. I can select for example this SIM account and I can directly right click here. Entry order, order submitted. And there you go. Our order was submitted. Let's put it here and fill it.
Yep, our order was filled. But now to be honest, I don't like this voice very much. So I can go on options and settings and I can have a different one. For example we have so many different ones. My favorite one is the war zone and you have basically this war zone type of thing with the commander in chief telling you what's the situation or if you want something softer, we have Emily which is my second favorite. Let's move that. Order submitted right. And so you can trade very easily from here. And another cool thing about trading Is that if you go on options and then settings and money management here you can basically set up a maximum drawdown for the day, for example at $5,000, this is the maximum overall drawdown on the account. Then you have a maximum number of trades per day that I have set at 3. You can set a partial drawdown for maybe a specific time period or a single max loss per trade that I set at $500. This can vary depending on the size of of course and you have to apply it to specific symbols. For example the ES you can save. And this is going to safeguard your account from fucking it up for emotional trading, which is something that most platform should have but don't because they're typically CFD brokers that are in conflict of interest with their clients. So they like if you lose all of your money. I can also open a new advanced depth of market and use the same asset. And this is the order book. Now I have only level one data which is the first two levels of the book. When you purchase level two data you have every single level of the book. And you can look at real time liquidity in the order book and trade directly from here. For example, I can if I put my stop loss sort of here. Do you see? Now it's here, this one stop is here. And I can place my take profit here for example and you'll see it right here, right here below. Now I got filled. So you can trade directly from here and you can either buy market and buy right here. Place your stop loss.
Place your take profit flat, order cancelled, order filled. Okay. Or you can place for example a buy stop above here.
If you don't like all of these sounds, you can simply go on options alerts and deactivate the trading sound. Or I can sell market or I can sell stop below here. It's a very classical trading terminal but very, very easy to use. And you can either buy and then set your stop loss and your take profit right away. Or you can use an OCO strategy for example with stop loss and take profit and preset your for example your stop loss at 15 points or 15 ticks, take profit at 30 and for example limits. It's going to automatically put them to you and connect these two orders. So OCO1 cancels other as soon as this one is filled, the other one will be canceled immediately. There you go. Here you can select the instrument the amount of days you want to see on your chart, the time frame. I can go down to the 1 minute time frame for example or I can Use range charts. For example, I want to see the ES charts on 8 range chart. So every candle will be 8 ticks. I can even go down to the 1 second time frame if I wanted to. Even though I honestly think we don't need a one second time frame. It's pretty useless, I would say. Of course you have the classic crosshair, all of that good stuff. But what I love is the templates. So I have some templates here, my favorite one being the one minute entry model. And of course all of these templates come included with the full version of deep charts. And this template for example, has a normal footprint chart on the 1 minute time frame. It has a cumulative volume delta chart and order flow stats chart. The footprint shows me basically a summary of all aggressive buying or aggressive selling that happen inside of a single candle. This other charts show me the total delta on this, which basically means the total volume is all of the green numbers plus all of the purple numbers. So the total volume of the candle, this number, the delta tells me the net aggression. So it takes all of this green minus all of the purple numbers and that total. So aggressive buyers minus aggressive sellers gives me the delta. And the Last number, for example 6 is how much delta there is in percentage compared to the entire volume. So in percentage, who was more aggressive? Well, we had a 6% buying Delta, so mostly aggressive buying happened in this candle. Now let's get a little bit deeper into the footprint. This is a classic bid ask box footprint, but you can literally customize this however you like. You can either have a bid ask footprint or a volume footprint. So you just for example want to see the volume of each tick or you want the delta of each tick. And maybe since it's a, it's one number, you might want it as a profile. We have the profile distribution of the delta or of that volume volume of that specific candle or both, for example, and basically have both in the candle. But I normally like to have a bid ask split footprint with boxes. This yellow thing inside of the candle is the point of control, that you can go simply here and enable it or disable it at will. Typically I like to have it and in the plot settings you can either increase the size of the text, for example with font size that makes it kind of bigger and easier to read. And as you know, these numbers in a color are based on imbalance. So if I go to plot settings text and go to the show setting on the coloration, the color is set in multiple colors imbalance with a user defined range. And if you go in the settings. I've basically put this. The first range is black. The default color of my candle is black of the numbers. The first range I've activated is 200% delta. So these little colors are 200% delta. The upper range is 400% delta. So you see this 141. There's a lot more saturation in the color and that's how I've created it. Simply apply and press. Ok. And there's a bunch of other things that I personally do not use but that are really, really detailed. So this is my first footprint setup. My other favorite trading setup for intraday traders is this five minute bias. And there you go. This is what I normally open at the beginning of a session to understand what's the bias for the day. Right. And what I will typically have on this chart is volume indic. So I will have a volume profile of the rth regular trading hour session or cash session and a profile of everything that is extended trading hours or electronic trading hours. So Asian session and London session under one profile. Another profile is the cash session. I also like to have a composite volume profile of the entire chart to have the let's say longer term areas and a volume indicator here on the bottom that for example, if I didn't want it on a second chart I could simply go here, go on the setting on chart area 2 and put it again on chart area 1 using a secondary axis. So I apply and I will have it right on top of this chart. Make it a little smaller. So in this way I can overlay two charts on the same chart area. As you can see there's several chart areas. If I activate now the order flow values, it's going to put them here in another chart area and there you go. And when I zoom in you can actually see that also each candlestick has its own volume profile. Has its own footprint with both volume profile and bid ask. That's why I have two order flow analyzers or deep prints because one is just the volume profile and one is the letters. But you could also for example go on order flow analyzers or deep print Advanced. And for example I just want half of the size with half offset. This way I will have only the profile on this side save it and now I go to the other one, do the same thing but not offsetting it and basically have them separated like this. So I can have multiple footprint charts in the same candle. And another thing I like to do is to duplicate the chart and for example put one chart over Here and the other chart over here and in this one, loading my five minute bias. And for example, keep on this chart the one minute time frame for the entry and keep the five minute here for the bias, because here I get the main volume areas of the day of the week and also the vwap. And maybe look for the pattern on the one minute time frame instead for the entry. And you can open as literally as as many charts as you want in how many screens you want. So it's really, really convenient. And if, for example, you want to draw a line on this chart marking up some areas and you want to also see them at the lower time frames in the other chart, you can simply right click take drawing tools from another chart and take it from the five minute, for example, and I will have the same things that I put here also on this other area of the chart. There you go. Now it's completely and automatically copying them to this chart. But for example, you might also want to look at the ES volume because it's the most important one. But trade on the micro contract, well, you can do that as well. So you can select from this menu over here the mes and while looking at the main volume, which is the es, trade on your micro contract instead. As you can see now, this is a micro contract. It's $1.25 per tick. So you can trade the smaller size contracts if you know that's your level of capital. Then I might, for example, go on the micro NASDAQ or on the NASDAQ and wait. So for example, this is the NASDAQ chart and if I, for example, go to the one minute time frame here, let's go to the one minute time frame. You will likely see that if you try and zoom in, you're going to have to zoom in a lot to see the numbers, right? So one thing you can do, for example, if you're using the nasdaq, but you still want to see some level of, you know, some approximation at least of the volume without having to zoom in so hard on the candles, you can simply. And this happens as well on gold, for example, you go on your order flow analyzer and on the tick grouping you put manual and maybe group five ticks, you're going to do it also on the second one. And voila. Now you have a much cleaner version of the order flow, but aware of course that it's approximate with a five tick approximation. So it's basically summing up five ticks each time, but it's more visible this way. Or like Fabio, like to have his chart. I can delete everything, literally delete everything and only have price. And our favorite indicator which is deep trades. I can filter for example for 50 contracts or 40, maybe change the colors, maybe increase the maximum size to 5 or even 10. Apply and save. I'm going to close this, wait for it to build. And this way you have Fabio's favorite chart where you can clearly see the big trades of big traders. See for example all of these huge sellers absorbed here, the buyers absorbed here, and you can set them up on based on simple volume. So this will only consider purely volume data and not order flow data. So it's just the amount of trades taken purely as it is. And as you can see it's radically different. Or you can place them by order by iceberg or by aggregate trades. And iceberg and aggregate trades requires level 2 data or ADX feed data feed. For example, if I click on aggregate trades, it will basically on an order by order basis aggregate all of the trades based on the order id. And instead of volume, and unlike with volume, that does not show you fractioned order like a lot of institutions like to do. As to say Instead of putting 40 contracts market, I'll put 111111 with volume those orders are not showed because they're 11111. But with order IDs you can identify that they're all part of one big order. And with aggregate trades you can aggregate these big orders and you.
Advanced type of technology that only few platforms manage to have. There you go. And if I wanted to set for example a V web, I just go to indicators and look for deep profile values. I'm going to add it here and this is going to show me the values of the volume profile just by itself. Let's apply it and save. So you can see this. And now it's simply going to show me without the volume profile, just the value area high, the value area low, the point of control and the vwap. And this is for example what I like to use to just have the vwap. So I'm going to typically not have the value area, only have the VWAP with the developing VWAP envelopes, not have the point of control apply it. It's going to delete that and have it split starting from 9:30, finishing at 4pm Exchange time zone. And this way I can have a VWAP of the session. I could also for example just select this area, right click and go to VBP settings. And this way I can go to the vwap, activate the develop VWAP in this one as well, activate the envelopes and basically just have the VWAP of one specific price, swing or time window. And another cool thing that I like to use here in the general settings, go to volume and have delta and total volume so that I can see the biggest clusters of aggressive buying or aggressive selling that happened in the market that are typically going to be your main areas of institutional activity. Okay, and these are the main functions of deep charts and how to set most popular indicators in the platform. For all of the rest of the videos, just go to the deepcharts channel where in the next few weeks you're going to start getting more in depth tutorial and tips and tricks on how to set some of the indicator. I'll see you on the next.
