A short YouTube monologue by Kardec Trader (uploaded March 30, 2023) arguing that highly successful and smart people remain open to learning: they ask for advice, welcome different perspectives, and maintain a lifelong 'student' mindset across domains. The speaker emphasizes humility, active questioning, and absorbing diverse viewpoints.
The smartest people and the most successful people in the world. They're always open to asking for advice. They're always open to hearing different perspectives, different opinions. You can't have that ego of, like, oh, I can't ask you, what's it gonna look like if I ask you? No. Okay. Hey, bro, can you break this down for me? Like, I've went to people and said, I don't know this stuff. Can you explain it to me? And people look at me like, what? I want to be a student for the rest of my life in every single department, and I want to absorb as much as I can and see different perspectives.
