Kardec Trader explains why trading advice needs proof. He keeps his net worth private but publishes his live trading account activity every year, showing logins and year-to-date profits and losses to prove he actually trades.
Are you very public with how much you've made since you started and how much you're currently worth, or do you keep that secret?
Worth wise, I keep that a secret. But trading wise, I have shared it because I am giving people trading advice, if you want to call it. And I have been a big fan of you are listening to anyone, you want to make sure that they can back it up in trading. If I'm telling you something, I want to be able to say, hey, I have been through it and I have the results to speak for, you know. So I have showcased my live logins. Like every year I go in my account, I make a video showcasing my year to date profits, what I made, what I lost, in conjunction to what the final number has been. So I've shared that every year for at least the past five years.
