DSTM Group Course

A short promotional/educational talk by Kardec Trader arguing that trading requires a probabilistic mindset that conflicts with humans' biologically-rooted, certainty-seeking responses. The speaker describes a group course that trains emotional regulation, mindfulness, reprogramming of automatic threat/fight-or-flight responses, and the development of an intentional mind able to operate in uncertainty; the segment concludes with an invitation to a webinar.
Chapters
A tragic mistake that traders make is they don't comprehend what they're getting into. They don't comprehend that the rules of trading are different than the rules that they've been used in other areas of life. They get in and they just simply aren't prepared for it. Instead of certainty based, where I can make things happen, where I can control outcome, where I can do all that stuff that doesn't happen in trading and trading, unfortunately or fortunately, it's probability based. And unfortunately is that the biology that we inherit from history does not support that. It doesn't support it at all. And traders try to ram through it only to find a brick wall. What has to happen is you have to learn how to work around that biology. It's always going to be certainty based. It's always going to want a control outcome. And ultimately what you have to do is you have to learn how to regulate the emotion and then rechange the emotional reaction that you have. The traitor has to uncertainty. That has to be taught. It's not going to happen naturally.
Some of it may be psychological, but a lot of it is just pure biological. We were built that way. What happens in the group course is you're taking through a process that allows you to be able to retrain that response to uncertainty. Nothing changes until that happens. Instead of having the old default programming trigger fight flight, what you do is you train the mind to be able to respond to uncertainty from discipline, from courage, from self soothing and from impartiality. It does take work. And the group course teaches you how to move through each one of the skills. It teaches you emotional regulation. You've got to cool the emotion of the biology down or you're never going to get there. You have to produce mindfulness. You have to be able to step back out of your current organization of self and to be able to reorganize that whole thing so that you're acting differently. You also have to find this historical narrative that's running in you that stops you from being able to perform at higher functions.
It is all about control of outcome. Your sense of adequacy, your sense of worth, your sense of mattering and powerlessness. You have to learn to find those within yourself. That sense of worth, that sense of mattering, that sense of power, sense of adequacy outside of your performance. Because ultimately your performance is not a reflection of who you are as a being. That's what you have to get in this course. The fourth thing that you learn in this course is literally how to go in and find the emotional programs within the brain that give rise to the mind that can think and work in probabilities from discipline, from courage, from self soothing and from impartiality. These are programs that you can train. Yeah, train your mind to bring forward and create the mind rather than the mind by default programming. The fifth thing is you become intentional. You learn how to produce an intentional mind that you would never go into trading without preparing. You're there, you're ready and you can do it. This is a great course for people who want to learn literally what they need to do to be able to overcome the gap literally in their biology from being able to have a mind that's focused on certainty, never will be able to deal with probability to a mind that handles the probability found in trading. It's very trainable, friends and I really invite you to consider coming to this course. It's a game changer. Have a good one and come to the webinar that's associated with this.
It'll be worth your while. Okay, take care, friends.
