Risk management rules differ between personal and funded trading accounts. With a $160,000 funded account, set a $3,000 daily loss limit to protect your buffer. Trade count doesn't matter; what matters is hitting your loss cap and stopping.
Do you have a rule of how many trades you can take? Will you keep taking the trade as long as it's still valid, as long as it's still setting up?
Depends on if I'm trading my personal account or funded account. For funded account, you will blow up your account. $50K account and $150K account are different too. So for me, if it's an account that already built some buffer, so probably $150K account, but now I got $160K whole total account balance, I would set $3,000 for my personal daily loss limit. It doesn't matter how many trades.
And then personal-wise, do you have a similar rule?
I have similar rules, but like obviously it's going to be percentage of the capital.
