Short motivational/instructional video by Kardec Trader arguing that psychology is overemphasized for early-stage traders. The speaker claims that in stages one and two (and early three) traders should keep position size small so emotions do not materially affect performance; psychological battles become more relevant after those stages.

Psychology in trading is overrated. I emphasize on this because I see traders in stage one or stage two and they go I'm not profitable because I can't get my emotions in check. And I'm like, well, your emotions should not be in effect in stage one and two. This is when you're building up skills. When you're building up skills, your size shouldn't be large enough for it to impact your emotions, right? So it's like when you're in stage one, two and partially shifting to three, this is where like your size needs to be the least amount and then it slowly starts picking up somewhere here. The reason I say emotions are overrated, it applies a lot to stage one, two, three. But then obviously once you pass those stages, this is one of the battles that we have to deal with. But I think if you're in stage one, two, three, this should not be there.
