Short YouTube clip (Kardec Trader, Feb 25, 2024) encouraging traders to prioritize small, consistent gains and accept small losses so they compound into large account growth over time. The speakers contrast chasing "home run" trades with playing a consistency game—take many small trades rather than seek big, risky wins.
Never underestimate the power of tiny gains. I tell traders all the time a couple of hundred here, a couple of hundred there will all compound into big amounts. I see traders trying to hit big home runs on every single trade. And listen, we all want to have big trading days. I get it. I understand. However, if we focus on the small wins, small losses and allow that to consistently compile over the next few trading sessions, you'll look at your account one day and you'll be like.
Wow, how did my account go up 30% in the past couple of weeks? How did IT go up 40% in the past couple of weeks?
It's all those small wins, small losses that you keep taking over and over again and those things compound into something massive. But it takes time. So let go of the big home runners and trying to take on big trades. Just play the consistency game and take trades over and over again.
