A trader shares a daily strategy that enters at market open if the 9:30 AM candle breaks prior structure and aligns with higher-timeframe bias. The setup uses fixed risk: 38-point profit target and 25-point stop-loss, or double those if the opening candle exceeds 25 points.

This is my favorite trade to take session open. Price is coming in at whatever level. There's going to be an influx of volume from overnight orders being executed and institutions entering. This is going to create an initial unfair move. So this is going to be my fair price, just the opening price of the 9:30 AM session. First trade that I'll take once a day, every single session that opens, I will take a continuation trade. It's just going to be in the direction of the opening candle, assuming it aligns with a high timeframe bias that I have. And high timeframe bias is just for reversion. So pretty much just inverting whatever happened for the previous 6 to 12 hours. So the first trade, literally the color of the first candle, As long as it breaks structure of the previous candles, then I'm good to enter and I will do a 38-point take profit and a 25-point stop loss for this trade. If the opening candle is larger than 25 points, I'll just simplify it, cut my contracts in half. That would make this 76 and that would make this 50. But that's literally it for the first trade. Just a very quick continuation of the opening move, trying to capitalize on an unfair displacement.
