You need a lot of money to start day trading or trading in general. This is false. I've seen traders with a thousand dollars, $2,000 that have done very well for themselves. It has taken time. I don't want to give you guys the false notion that you're going to start with a thousand or two thousand dollars and you will become millionaires. You can open a day trading account tomorrow with a couple of hundred or thousand dollars and get started. If you don't want to put money in, you can also start a paper trading account, meaning you can trade with fake money just to get things going and understanding the market. I don't believe you need a lot of money to make money. Yes, if you have more, be bigger. Your gains will be bigger, but doesn't mean you won't be profitable or you won't make money.
