A trader scaled from $5,000 to $1.5 million in 18 months with prop firms, hitting $100K monthly at peak. They spent $400K total to make $1.75 million profit, but rising fees have made six-figure months harder to sustain. New traders can still catch several six-figure months early on before firms tighten leverage limits.

You are at $1.5 million right now under 18 months, which is incredible. What's the sort of cost to make that sort of amount to you? It's about $400,000 to make $1.75 million in profit. But I started with about $5,000. First month I made $17,000. Second month another $20,000 and then $40,000 and then $60,000 and then $80,000 and then $100,000. It unfortunately is getting a little bit lower. I'm not able to stay above 6 figures every month. Expected value is getting a little bit worse because prop firms are increasing their prices, but it's still very possible to make 6 figures a month, especially if you're new. If you're new to prop firms, they're not gonna try and limit you and send you live until you've proven profitability. If you were to just come onto prop firms today, you could 100% hit a few 6-figure months in a row eventually it would come down to about $50K, $75K, $100K a month.
