A short excerpt from a YouTube video by Kardec Trader (April 10, 2024) promoting order flow candles as superior to traditional candlesticks. The speaker argues order flow reveals buyer/seller aggression, imbalances, trapped orders, absorption, and liquidity sweeps—information absent from standard price-action candles—and promotes a full video course on order flow.
Here's how to cheat in trading and put your candles on fucking steroids. Stop using normal candles. Instead, use order flow candles to have a more reliable confirmation for your entries. Normal candles give us only four important pieces of information. Order flow instead can show you the real reason of price movements, the interaction between buyers and sellers who was more aggressive. Where is the actual imbalance? Are there any trapped buyers or sellers? Is there an absorption of orders or an actual liquidity sweep? These things you cannot see from price action alone. I just released a full video course on order flow on my YouTube channel.
